An independent streak has me doing my own home repairs and I'm always wishing I had more tools. I've found that working on any project with a partner can be fun, whether it's demolition or making dinner. However, I'll probably always hate doing my own yard work, so that job is definitely up for hire! I love an infectious sense of humor and thoughtful gestures, but above all, I need to know my partner can handle whatever comes our way. A strong work ethic is very important, but so is the ability to let go and leave work at the workplace.Lists can be great for clarifying what you want, but the heart is a funny thing. When it works, it just works. ...Now, I'm new to this site, but does anyone else think "Do you have a car" seems a little out of place amongst questions about actual deal breakers?! Ha! First dates are enough pressure--keep it simple! A chance to chat with something going on in the background is all you need.

I am here because I am convinced that there are still NICE GUYS with old fashion values of marriage and family. Although, I have NO idea how to meet them :)I want a guy Mama would have approved of and I can't get enough of. Gotta love the river, being outdoors, gym/exercise time is favorable, football games a must and most importanly, accepting of children... I have a 14 year old... and she is my life... I'm the ultimate "sports mom"... and I'm not afraid of concession stand time :). I have a career I adore, but still believe in the little things like a hot dinner on the table at the end of the day (yes, I cook, just about daily),a neat and cozy home (even though I have "fur-babies" that like to challenge that), a lazy breakfast on a weekend morning, and church on Sunday...Let's see... I'm not clingy and codependent, and I ask the same of someone I'm involved with... We are all adults, with responsibilities and commitments... Complimenting not complicating each others lives is key. Making time for each other is also hightly important, compromising and meeting in the middle is mandatory... I've come to love all things southern, but still embrace and enjoy the cultures and experiences of where I come from. I'm not a bar scene kind of girl, some good music at a reputable restaurant suits me just fine.And guys... word of advice on profile pics... Get out of your bathroom, get out of your bed and put your shirt back on... Shirtless pics of muscles make me assume that's all you have to offer... Been there, done that... threw a t-shirt at him (them)... :)

Want to start by saying thank you for taking the time to read my profile and not just glance at my pic and read I have " a few extra pounds" and move on. Guess you can say us "bigger girls" really do have "good personalities". LolHere is a laundry list of facts about gloria (me) :***I do not work and currently fighting for my disability rights.2) I have a home where I reside with my 2 children. Boy 13. Girl 3.3) I am a total goofball and tend to always have my mind in the gutter.4) I have a lot of ink and a couple piercings also like them on men.5) I like to sit by a fire and be social either with a beer or not***I'm not ticklish 7) History has proven I tend to like guys with some stature, like to feel hugged and sucure when I'm in someone's arms8) lol have nothin to say here just sittin here gigglin at that number '8' (like a 12 year old) as I usually do.9) To answer the lingering question you have had since statement 1 , yes I'm able to do 'normal' things do to my disability :-p. I have joint problems and recently had spine fusion surgery I am in pain a lot yes but can still do basic things as long as I'm not lifting anything and not standin, sittin or writing for a extended period of time.***omg u must really think I'm cute if ur still reading my ramblings!
