I know it sounds cliche, but it is true. I am looking for someone to share life with, the good and the bad. I am looking for a best friend to play with…now get your mind out of that gutter! Not to say I won’t want to be playful later but it’s not my main focus. I mean a best friend to go out and explore the world. I enjoy a lot of different sports, I don’t play as many as I use to but with the right partner we could have lots of fun. Activities I enjoy or would love to restart...golf, bowling, hitting a tennis ball around (would have to relearn "playing" tennis), skiing (I don't like to be cold so we would have to work that out ;), horse-I love shooting baskets, pool, I attempt to play darts, I am sure there are more but we can figure them out later.Activities I enjoy watching...Football- NFL, College sometimes, my man playing pretty much any sport, sometimes basketball and baseballI just finished my bowling season and may bowl during the summer. I bowled a ***this year and want to keep practicing at the very least so I can get my 300. I golf with my family and friends, and boy how the weather has been great for that lately. While I am still working I don’t stay too late, I love my job but you can burn out so I am very aware of the balance needed in life. I make sure I play or relax as much as I work. I love movies and have some specific television shows I like…yes, I am a TV addict! There is good news though…I’d rather go and do things than sit in front of a TV most of the time. Sometimes cuddling up and watching a good movie or show can make a perfect night. I love all kinds of movies, especially horror and action/thriller. I also continually read or listen to books. I am listening to two and reading one now... I’m a hard rock girl too but listen to just about any music. My family, friends, and my dog are very important to me and I love spending time with them. If you asked my friends and family how they would describe me they would say I am giving, kind, smart, fun, passionate, tenacious (slightly stubborn in a good way) and loyal. I love children and am very open to having a future with someone who already has children. I enjoy trying new things but I do have my favorite things I’m passionate about. I am most passionate about helping people and I am able to apply that in my job. I am a special education teacher, teaching the most wonderful and challenging students. My students are often medically impacted by their disability and my National Certification specialty is in the severe/profound area. My Masters is with a focus on Autism. I have been teaching for 15 years and I am blessed for I truly love my job! My faith is important to me, a positive energy I share though my actions. I attend church and it is a part of who I am. So....here is a peak into what I am looking for, what I enjoy, and where my passions run. I am looking forward to going out with you and seeing if we will have that spark. We will have fun. I don't have a perfect first date in mind, if that were the case I wouldn't be here. I love to be active and am often out walking around Capital Lake or golfing somewhere. If the weather doesn't permit then I may bowl or catch a movie. I for our first date we should do something along those lines.

Now that I have your attention.. I am a real woman, have a plaque that says it and everything!! :) I am the mother of two teenage boys which is great because no babysitter required and sucks because they NEED a babysitter being two teenage boys...I have as I am sure you all have been hurt in the past, run down, put down etc.. build a bridge and get over it.. There comes a time in everyone's lives when we choose to define our lives or let it define us. I make my own way, may not be how everyone else sees it or how they think i should but its my terms. I am not as you can tell by my photos, a Barbie. I am a real woman who is improving everyday and is beautiful inside and out. I am not perfect for every guy I am perfect for ONE guy. I am family oriented and choose to surround myself and my boys with people who laugh, and can add emotional goodness to our lives. Money is not everything, its great to have it, but if you can't make a good time happen without it, then you probably don't have enough creativity for this girl. In my world, a REAL man, does not hit. Does NOT yell, belittle, criticize. Not saying this has happened just not what I want. I want to love someone and be loved. Hurt with my partner when they are hurting, find joy when they do and just be together. Remember Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans, I could say all the fun things don't judge a book by its cover and all that, but lets be real we all do. chemistry is needed, and so is the ability to spell and speak without saying fo dizzle. I enjoy sporting events, concerts, movies long walks off short piers, things that involve water is awesome oh except waterboarding, I am cutting that out ! Somewhere that you don't have food spilling from your mouth, there is plenty of time to talk and get to know the person. You can actually see the persons expressions and hear what they have to say while not being drown out by the loud music.
