About Me
I am looking for a best friend to play with…now get your mind out of that gutter! Not to say I won’t want to be playful later but it’s not my main focus. I mean a best friend to go out and explore the world. I enjoy a lot of different sports, I don’t play as many as I use to but with the right partner we could have lots of fun. Activities I enjoy or would love to restart...golf, bowling, hitting a tennis ball around (would have to relearn "playing" tennis), skiing (I don't like to be cold so we would have to work that out ;), horse-I love shooting baskets, pool, I attempt to play darts, I am sure there are more but we can figure them out later.Activities I enjoy watching...Football- NFL, College sometimes, my man playing pretty much any sport, sometimes basketball and baseballI just finished my bowling season and may bowl during the summer. I bowled a ***this year and want to keep practicing at the very least so I can get my 300. I golf with my family and friends, and boy how the weather has been great for that lately. While I am still working I don’t stay too late, I love my job but you can burn out so I am very aware of the balance needed in life. I make sure I play or relax as much as I work. I love movies and have some specific television shows I like…yes, I am a TV addict! There is good news though…I’d rather go and do things than sit in front of a TV most of the time. Sometimes cuddling up and watching a good movie or show can make a perfect night. I love all kinds of movies, especially horror and action/thriller. I also continually read or listen to books. I am listening to two and reading one now... I’m a hard rock girl too but listen to just about any music. My family, friends, and my dog are very important to me and I love spending time with them. If you asked my friends and family how they would describe me they would say I am giving, kind, smart, fun, passionate, tenacious (slightly stubborn in a good way) and loyal. I love children and am very open to having a future with someone who already has children. I enjoy trying new things but I do have my favorite things I’m passionate about. I am most passionate about helping people and I am able to apply that in my job. I am a special education teacher, teaching the most wonderful and challenging students. My students are often medically impacted by their disability and my National Certification specialty is in the severe/profound area. My Masters is with a focus on Autism. I have been teaching for 15 years and I am blessed for I truly love my job! My faith is important to me, a positive energy I share though my actions. I attend church and it is a part of who I am. So....here is a peak into what I am looking for, what I enjoy, and where my passions run. I am looking forward to going out with you and seeing if we will have that spark. We will have fun. I don't have a perfect first date in mind, if that were the case I wouldn't be here. I love to be active and am often out walking around Capital Lake or golfing somewhere. If the weather doesn't permit then I may bowl or catch a movie. I for our first date we should do something along those lines.
