About Me

I love live music and I'll be happy listening to almost anything! I love traveling and I'm always craving a vacation somewhere new. I've been all over the east coast, spent a few weeks in Europe, and I try to get to Vegas one or twice a year. I try to find the gym 3 to 4 days out of the week, and for the most part try to eat healthy but a night at Trudys can lead me astray. I have a positive outlook on life. It's easy to make me laugh, and I try not to hold grudges...what's the point? I'm in a good place in life right now. I have a great job (although I would love to own my own bakery or catering business someday) and great friends who mean the world to me. I'm looking to find someone who is easy going, funny, confident, but not arrogant. I think honesty and communication are highly important in any relationship. As for you, I'll most likely read your profile before I even look through your photos. If your words can't hold my attention, then your dashing good looks probably won't either (at least not for very long). If your main photo is you standing in front of a mirror without your shirt on, I admire your confidence, but that's not what I'm looking for. I'm a sucker for a man with at least a basic knowledge of the English language and grammar. A man who smiles when he talks about his mother or his sister and doesn't care about looking cool when he plays with kids or puppies. And definitely a man who know the words to a few Johnny Cash songs. Something simple, coffee or dinner somewhere fun, not fussy. This needs to be a place we can just talk, get to know each other, and see if there is chemistry.

I am finding I just want more from my life than working shitty jobs. I would like to be more active, so meeting people who like to get out and do things rather than sit around all the time would be nice. I can always be found singing so I tend to enjoy music that I can sing along too.I am:SarcasticGenuineFunny- no really IntelligentRemarkably dumb sometimes. PickyA good listener. OpinionatedGood at keeping secretsOut of shape and need to change thatReally good at putting my foot in my mouth. If you took that literally you are an idiot. Open mindedA devoted momma to a rescue dog. ShyThe loudest person laughing in a room of loud laughing people. Resistant to change, but accept it and move forward quickly. I am not:A grudge holder. I don't need to know the weather thanks, I have an app for that. To be trusted with fire- it just never has a good ending and I swear its never my fault. Into ***holes, douchebags, men with mommy/daddy issues, men with narcissistic personality disorder, or men who can't say what they mean ( stop being a woman). .like so many others. I completed my education in Australia to kill 2 birds with 1 stone - obtain my degree and live on the other side of the world, gaining a great deal of independence, freedom and overall self growth. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, watch tv/movies, dance, see any live show, specifically plays and musicals, and work out. I generally listen to all types of music. Here is a quote that I always live by: Always be yourself. Because the people that matter don't mind, and the ones that mind, don't matter. If you aren't yourself initially, then you won't be giving others a true picture of who you are. The typical "going to a movies" response is retarded (excuse my political incorrectness). How can you get to know someone in a movie theatre? I think any type of situation where you can actually hear the person and can speak yourself without having to be 'ssshed' at or have to scream at the top of your lungs is ideal. Restaurants, pubs and coffee shops are great examples.
