About Me

Where to start... Well I am someone who is very family oriented. We are pretty tight knit and I spend a lot of time with them as well as friends. My goal right now is to finish up my degree so that I can start teaching. I am currently working as a teacher's aide or educational assistant as it is known now, and a student. I love my job.I am fully bilingual. French is my native tongue and not English but you would never be able to tell except on certain words haha. I am an avid photographer, I also enjoy drawing, painting and reading. I have always been a fan of soccer and hope to join a league again this summer. Beach volley ball is another sport I enjoy though I may not always be the best. I tend to be pretty clumsy sometimes but I do not mind laughing at myself :) I am that girl who ends up hitting herself in the face with a volley ball every once in a while :PLike I mentioned before I can be clumsy, a little bit quirky at times, I like to have fun, laugh and am always there to help my friends and family in any way I can. Though I do enjoy certain sports I am looking into getting into a more active lifestyle right now my goal is to start running again. As for my taste in music I enjoy a little bit of everything. I love to cook and try new cuisines.     I'm an avid reader - I have more books than anything else I own. Shopping and browsing bookstores is a love of mine. I'm also an avid blogger with a successful website of my own. I enjoy writing, and even though I have a legal background, I maintain writing as a hobby (I currently write for 3 different publications). I enjoy the theatre and I tend to see musicals a few times a year. I LOVE all movies, don't have a preference for movie type. My new favourite thing is devouring TV shows on Netflix. Putting TV on Netflix is a bit of a black hole, isn't it? :)I love the bar scene, but not as big of a fan of the 'club' scene. I feel as if I'm too old!     Random (fun?) facts:-4th child-->baby and only girl-"guys gal", I enjoy football and beer but like to get all fancy and shown around town -not athletically competitive but intellectually I like to think I have what it takes to take anyone down! :) -running is my stress reliever-my dog is the best part of most my days-;Molecular Biology, work in a LC/GC lab now. debating my next move, think it'll be school-very close to my family/friends, lucky to have them-very sarcastic, like to have a lil innocent fun, all in good humor-optimistic, easy going-my blessings have become more apparent to me since moving up here a lil over 2 years ago and I'm excited about this city and exploring all I canI think thats enough for now (?).
