Alright, so I'm a 29 yr old single mom that works quite a bit but knows how to find that balance in life for family time and me time as well. Actually, I'm just now getting around to the "me time". I have been single for over a year and am just trying to put myself out there and see what kind of options there are. Of course I want companionship and all of the perks that come with it, but lets be honest, you have to be friends first...and as horrible as it sounds, physical attraction. This is my last try on here...I was on here briefly a couple of other times and went on a few dates but low and behold I'm still single, so here goes nothing. I'm traditional...the man should plan the first date. And no I won't meet you at a bar for drinks. I could just go TO a bar if that is where I wanted to meet someone;)

I'm looking for a way to meet someone without having to use the bar scene. I live in a town full of military guys, and although I appreciate your service, I'm not made for the military lifestyle. I am a single mother of two young boys. I'm looking for someone to be able to connect with. I would like to eventually turn something into a relationship on a more serious level but making friends is also something I would like. I am a bigger girl. So if we ever meet, you aren't surprised. I don't always have extra time without some notice and so I need someone that understands that my kids are always first. I like going out with friends (when I can) doing pretty much anything, I love going to concerts (country is my favorite!). I love to laugh so having a sense of humor is something I look for. I haven't had one of these in so long! I think I would prefer something low key like a quiet restaurant or a walk through a park so we could talk and get to know each other. Nothing over the top and I'm not a kiss on the first date kind. Just mellow and easy going is what I would anticipate a first date to be.
