Looking for: man. In age: 48-58
Hi there...I am a happy person who loves to surround myself with great friends and family. A little bit about me - I am honest and sincere. I love to cook and entertain and have great conversations. Sharing a glass of wine, chatting, watching a movie, long walks, all kinds of music, reading a book, watching hockey or sports, playing golf, enjoying a great meal in or out all top my list. I have a job that I love and two wonderful kids. I have a great family and some of the best friends anyone could ask for. I think life is short so I stay positive and don't let little things get in the way of finding happiness - I don't sweat the small stuff. Meeting for a coffee would be nice to see if there is a connection.

I am a lady who appreciates good conversation and companionship - the kind of gal who embraces life wholeheartedly. Looking for a kind and loving man - active, up-beat, with an appreciation for the finer things in life.-loving with an ironic sense of humour.Very easy going and friendly. I like to keep up with new trends in music and technology. I'm always curious, love to learn new things, and would enjoy spending my time with a like-minded partner. I enjoy helping people and am always available to pitch in for a good cause. Bonus - I love to cook- nothing nicer than a delicious home cooked meal, glass of wine, good company on the patio or cottage! Not looking for the perfect man but the right one..... it's never too late in life to have a good time! Getting lost in the woods. Alternatively, a coffee or a nice glass of wine would be great!

Looking for: man. In age: 50-60
Single, reasonably stable (financially and emotionally***ish female looking for a single, reasonably stable 50-ish male who has figured out that life is a time limited offer and best celebrated as a shared experience. I know I've stated "dating but nothing serious" but that is subject to change. The 3 big "C" words that are important: conversation, communication, companionship, are some of the things I miss."C" words that I can live without: cats, cigarettes, cold weather, cutting the grass, and most country music.Seriously, why grass? It's a weed magnet!!!! If it rains, you have to cut it more often and if it doesn't rain, it turns brown and dies - there has to be a better solution.I'm passionate about a lot of things, but fanatical about nothing, except maybe grass. Oh, OK, I HATE polyester sheets and I don't believe in margarine. I take reasonable care of myself, I eat my version of healthy but don't believe in denying myself what I enjoy. I've been called a purist by someone who didn't know that I prefer milk chocolate over dark chocolate. Burgers are better without cheese, but I won't hold that against you.I try to watch the local news every day, just because it feels right. So does the whole "reduce, reuse, recycle" thing.I love music. I sometimes think in lyrics and a good song on the radio alarm can set my mood for the day. So many of the pictures of men on this site have them wearing dark glasses and baseball caps, I thought I'd try it too, well except for the baseball cap. The picture of me in the white t-Did I mention that: a sense of humour is a must? that spelling and grammar still count? manners are important? that I don't like grass?;X" word, but I did see him live a few times) and all the other words that needed to be, was I incorrectly "auto-corrected?" Sigh.** In theory, meeting someone on-line is a great concept. I've taken the step to try this again because so many people I've met had found who they were looking for here, yes HERE on POF!! After a couple of weeks back here, I'm having my doubts, but "nothing ventured, nothing gained.'Cheers, bonne chance, naz dadrovia, good luck in your quest!PS - I was born in ***but don't seem to be able to change it. PS/NB - I have posted pictures of myself. If you do not have a picture of yourself, or have private images but do not include them in your initial message to me, I will not respond. Even the dreaded "sunglasses and ball cap" are better than nothing, though in that disguise, how would we recognize each other if we ever decided to meet? I guess we wouldn't, meet that is. I didn't think it had to be said, but I guess it does. A walk somewhere interesting where we could talk and get to know each other a bit better, maybe with a patio as a destination or reward?
