I appreciate the time you are about to take to find out more about me. I guess you liked my pictures enough to get this far down on the page.I know myself to be honest, respectful, full of integrity, compassionate and loyal to just highlight a few characteristics / qualities. I enjoy a healthy lifestyle mixed with a “joie de vivre” attitude. After all, I am a Francophone coping quite well in an Anglophone world.I am in my 53rd year looking forward to my next 40 years. My two children are now adults and self sufficient. My son fought for our freedom in Afghanistan, now a veteran. My daughter following her profession in the health sector. Corporate world by day, evenings and weekends tend to be (and should be) a good balance of relaxation, exercise (walk, ride or run) and spur of the moment activities. A great ending to a day would be a nice walk where we could share in each other’s day listening, supporting and helping with those inevitably challenges of the days.I would like to meet a man that has a great sense of humour. Laughter is the best medicine for just about anything life can throw at you. A positive attitude is a must.The outdoors must be enjoyed frequently. Dinner and a movie makes for a great evening too. When all else fails, cuddling at home on the sofa in front of the fire, TV or behind your favourite book/magazine does the trick for me. Add a cup of tea / coffee or glass of wine to the night and that night is pretty close to perfection.Differences of opinions are to be expected in any relationship but a respectful manner to resolve issues is my modus operandi.
