Woman. 33 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.
Looking for: man. In age: 30-40
Hey there. :)Looking to meet new people, figured this was as good a place as any to start. Prefer to meet someone close to my age. I enjoy concerts (sort of a concert junkie - I love live music), wine, great restaurants, outdoor events in the city, spending lots of time with my nephews (they are 5 and 3 and the greatest kids!), reading, driving. I love my job, but it's not my life. I leave work at work. I've discovered a love for kickboxing. Ultimately, I'd like to meet someone nice with a good head on their shoulders for some dinners, wine, and great conversation. Maybe even a concert or two (or ten haha)***Note: I am not interested in men under 30 or over 45. I'm sure you're great guys, it's just a bit far out of my age range. I prefer someone in NY, NJ, or southern CT. I only date white men. Also, please, unless you're serious about at least chatting, don't message me. I'm not looking for endless *** if this sounds harsh, but, it's been a bit frustrating.*** My perfect first date is one where a ton of conversation can happen - either a walk or a few glasses of wine or just sitting in the park.

I like a plethora of different things, music, culture, travel and people. I need to be mentally stimulated or else I get bored really quick. I know they ask us to describe ourselves on here but I feel that limits and confines us to a few meaningless lines of jibber jabber that sound like familiar cliches ( I like walks on the beach, blah, music, blah, blah). Looking to meet and make a real connection with someone..get in touch and we can see if theres a spark. peace Probably a game of pool, maybe an gallery/wine tasting or some rifelry. Definitly not a movie and dinner. oh and if you have read this far.please don't be an ass-clown .cheers

Woman. 32 years old. Zodiac sign: Sagittarius.
Looking for: man. In age: 29-39
I'm a bit of a workaholic but when I'm not working I love media of all kinds (books, movies, music, theatre, etc). I love to travel (I've been to 47 of the 50 states and hit 3 EU countries last year). I love nature (hiking, camping), but I am not a huge fan of the cold; I love getting together with friends for dinner or drinks out or at my place in front of a good movie or board game. I grew up around very musical people and love it when people break out the guitars and start singing songs that everyone knows.I am generally a happy person who likes to enjoy experiences both new and routine. I work and I'm good at what I do and like what I do, but it isn't the passion of my life. It supports me well in my love of traveling and exploring, for which I'm very grateful. I originally studied Russian and French, then switched to Econ and got into a Phd program, but dropped out before I finished. Turns out, it was the best thing that could have ever happened to me.I’m really good at adapting to different situations. I land on my feet. You can peel back it's layers forever. I like non-fiction a lot too, as well as science fiction and historical fiction.;The Arrogant Years."TV Shows sitting my DVR: Walking Dead, Homeland, Breaking Bad, Newsroom, Game of Thrones, Amazing Race. I rarely watch things when they are actually on but if it's a big finale I might. For movies, any cheesy action movie will do! Turn your nose up if you will, but I will see every Fast and Furious on opening weekend. I love Sci-Fi too! I do like foreign, indie, artsy movies but you can't watch those every day (all-time favorites in that category: La Passion de Jeanne D'Arc, La Haine, Plata Quemada, and The Battle of Algiers). Other faves worth mentioning: Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Children of Men, and Star Trek.- I listen to everything in between too! A cafe is best because it's quiet enough that we can hear each other, but still has some ambient noise. Bonus points if we can make each other laugh via random observations of the people around us. Extra bonus points if you don't act incredulous when I drink tea and state with a straight face that I have never had a single cup of coffee ever.
