I am a very positive person & my goal in life is to always create (or allow) the highest good in every situation. There is a part of me that is a nature-loving, tree-hugger kind of a gal. I have spent much happy playtime in the Sierras & I also enjoy art and oil painting was a hobby of mine for a number of years. Although I have followed many spiritual paths, my spiritual practice now involves being in the present moment, being clear, expressive, keeping an open heart and knowing that I am connected to the vast, loving presence of the universe. I enjoy many different kinds of music & love free form dance (& partner dance). I am currently relearning how to play the piano. I enjoy cooking (especially cooking with someone else who enjoys good food) & entertaining. I have high standards for healthy food & have a vegetable garden. I occasionally write poetry (although lately I have only written refrigerator magnet poetry}. I enjoy a good book; and, in recent years, have been reading nonfiction pretty exclusively.; I have just ordered "Spontaneous Evolution," by Dr.; seeing him in a recent film about the future. I recently bought a house & have done extensive remodeling & am enjoying the house & garden. I am basically looking for someone who can see the goddess in me & in whom I can see the god. Favorite things to do on a first date: Go to an art museum & discuss the work afterwards. Take a walk in a beautiful, natural setting & discuss great books/ideas or spirituality afterwards. Have a good meal at a great (healthy) restaurant & while discovering our common interests & shared passions.

I have come to see that life is an adventure to be lived to the fullest. I find that the best way to experience life is with others albeit friends, family or colleagues. I find other people and their stories fascinating and my goal of any conversation is to add layers to the conversation each time that we talk, whether it is a first time conversation or a long time friend/family. There is always something to be learned either about myself, the person that I am talking with, or the world around me. I love to learn new things and will try just about anything once. I enjoy a variety of things and have a joy of life and love of adventure as long as I can experience it with others. Biking, walking or hiking in the summer or downhill skiing, ice skating, snow shoeing or making a snowman in the winter. I have always wanted to try cross country skiing as well. Historic walking tours, Shakespeare in the Park or Jazz in July or the state fair. I would love to learn to dance better and would love the chance to become more skilled in the classic dances. I am interested in meeting someone who I can be myself with and someone who brings out the "lovely" in me. Thoughtfulness, honesty, and the ability to trust them completely is a must have. I am looking for someone who has a faith in God and holds similar Christian values, who loves the Lord as well. In a nutshell, someone who I can experience life to the fullest and who wants to enjoy it with me. Being able to have conversation and find out about each other is the main objective. Whether that is at a local coffee shop or over dinner or whatever we opt to do for me is fine. As you can see by my profile I am pretty flexible so I'm not too picky with the format.

About myself. Too many passions to list Iwould assume but I did list many interests in attempts to offer a variety of thoughts and interests that can be seen through out my daily routines and such. I live to laugh. Joy experienced in our every day lives can offer so much to ourselves/each other. My heart seems too large for just me at times and I truly believe we're meant for relationship so why not chalk that up to needing to share it with someone. We shall see. I've realized as I have thought to write this that I really do like what the sky has to offer. Clouds, the colors, sunsets, sunrises, the wind, the birds that fly up so high....storms forming, shifting in the sky...the moon, the sun...northern lights...I can't wrap my brain around it so im always in awe. Lake superior is a place where I can experience peace. sitting on the shores or discovering an untouched beach to walk for hours. I am to a point in life that I want to share my interests, my joys with someone and really explore and experience their interests and what brings joy to them as well. We are created for relationship, created to express love. Why not keep searching for the opportunity to do just that. simple idea....coffee, cribbage, conversationbut let's talk about it...i'm sure we'll come up with an idea that would fit the uniqueness of our interests combined.
