The dreaded box that is supposed to tell any and all possible readers about ourselves and what we are looking for. Sounds easy enough ... So then why do I have writers block ? Laughter and great conversation are at the top of my list. A real connection with someone who genuinely wants to get to know me and will allow me the honor to know his thoughts and feelings. I would like to have someone in my life , to share adventures , bottles of wine , silly text messages. I am easy going and do not come with a big bag of drama ! It is a start at least ... Update : It donned on me this morning that online dating is kind of like shoe shopping ...When I first hit the "search" button and all the various profiles come up on my screen, I recognize the same excited feeling I get when I enter a shoe store. All the many types and styles catch my curious eye. At first darting quickly from one to another, and then, choosing a few that make my heart race - just a little. I see the flashy, sparkly man / stiletto. Always a good choice for a fun night out. Alas, in the end however, the evening usually ends with my feet feeling a little sore and my heart longing for more. The athletic man / shoe is also a choice at times. Flash forward to climbing The Grouse Grind as a first date. I am sucking on my asthma inhaler , my perfectly straightened hair going frizzy from all the perspiring I am doing and my water bottle being drank with the same enjoyment that I sometimes feel for a lovely bottle of Pinot Grigio. Not always my first choice, but with the right encouragement can be good for the soul.High on the shelf there is also the comfy man / shoe. Perfect for quiet evenings at home, watching a movie or grabbing take out food. Sweet. The never go wrong kind of guy / shoe. The ever popular flip flops / man ! Let's grab a blanket and head to the beach with your guitar and some food ! ( Note to self : get a pedicure ) Oh , and then there are boots / men !!.. The choices are endless ... Some days on here, a few catch my eye. Some days, I need to keep looking as nothing quite fits my life right now. I wonder what today will bring ?Good luck to all in finding just the right fit for our perfect day !! A bottle of wine and a quiet spot , so we can have a real conversation.

Looking for: man. In age: 49-59
My wish list is simple, I would like someone who loves the outdoors. No cardiac problems, my CPR has expired. No MILF seekers or any one looking for a cook or maid. He must have his own car, and be able to afford gas. My horse and carriage has a mileage limit. I have back problems, leave your baggage at home in your closet. My closet is absolutely full. Absolutely no crazies or freaks, but a sense of humor is a must. I am serious! Easy going, does not matter where or what, the most important thing is to get to know each other and talk.

Hi guys, I am a really and truly nice lady who's looking for her last love! I'm a proud mom of two little furbabies who are as silly as possible, so you must like dogs. I actually like all animals, I even had one job where I wore a baby python around my wrist for several hours -- he seemed perfectly happy! I love most kinds of music, I don't care for bluegrass or rap though. While I LOVE the Pirates of the Caribbean films (ok, ok, so it's really Johnny Depp I went to see!) and the Iron Man movies, Notes on a Scandal, Bridesmaids, Pirate Radio (especially with a glass of wine or two!), I also like good horror films like Saw, not part 20 of Friday the 13th. My true friends will tell you I'm generous to a fault, thoughtful, considerate, and just a really sweet person. I love reading, like to unwind with pc games, and don't have one single outstanding creditor - my bills are all caught up! I know I'm nervous enough just thinking about meeting someone new and making a (hopefully) good impression -- I used to suggest to dates that we meet at Hooters, so that if he and I didn't hit it off, at least he'd have something nice to look at! I do think a first meeting should be in a public place, but not so noisy that we can't hear ourselves talk...the whole idea is to get to know each other, right?
