Man. 53 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: woman. In age: 50-60
Ok, I'm 53, single, children are grown and gone, I like reading, am a music fanatic at times, like walking the nature reserve trails and parks. I've been a lot of things in life but now I'm just myself...I've also have lived and been all over the world. I'm looking for someone with integrity and honesty. I may go back to college in the fall. I'm honest, open minded, and loving and am looking for those attributes in a partner. NEW: We are all Human, Most of us are really the same, we all grew up in a family and are probably part of a community... what I usually see is people looking for an exacting specific type of partner which does Not Usually Exist. Acceptance of that fact about the human condition in all of our many flaws will get you peace of mind and serenity. Update Six: ***: Made the honor roll over the past two semesters, another semester started, Abnormal Psychology, History, Math, and Biology is all on my plate this semester and am writing this as of ***. All classes are going great except for math which I am a little behind in... I'm definitely not a math guy!. Update Five: ***: Doing two summer classes, Grief and loss, and Interviewing and assessment that are both in the human services field. The interviewing class is my last one to obtain a yearlong Addictions Studies certificate. Have about two more semesters to complete an additional degree in Human Services. Update Four: ***: Just finished four classes with all A's! Ethics for Helping Professionals, Psychotherapy Theories & Counseling, Counseling the Drug Dependant Client, and Counseling in Family Systems. Taking summer classes starting June 11, ***... Death and Grief Counseling and Interviewing Techniques.Update Three: ***...Update Two: ***: -.. then back to IPFW.Update One: ***I've entered IPFW here full time as a Psychology Student (Sophomore) and think that I'm going to really love it :) ....although I'm one of the oldest students I've seen walking around campus... that's Ok, time for me to relearn what I missed in my 20's ...and then some :) Hope you are having a great day! A walk in the park or a coffee together would be nice first meeting.

Man. 55 years old. Zodiac sign: Capricorn.
Looking for: woman. In age: 52-62
I've had a career in public education for 27 years and have owned a fireworks business for 17 years. I'm a US Army vet (JAG Corps). Love to take my grandsons to OU football games, plus I go to as many of the boys' baseball and basketball games as I can. Family is the most important thing in my life. I try to work out at least 4 days a week with my elliptical trainer, Bowflex, and dumbbells.I read often, like to play tennis and pool, love 80s rock (played keyboards in several bands in the '70s and '80s), and enjoy about any kind of music except twangy country.) because of the record-breaking heat, drought, and burn ban. This summer ***was A LOT more enjoyable :) I like driving my car fast and taking on sharp curves. I love my two awesome daughters who are now teachers and have given me 4 precious grandsons. I want to enjoy life to the fullest and to have as much fun as possible. I'll never be the grandpa in the rocking chair or nursing home type. Just not me.Hope to meet you and have some fun and make great memories! Wow, I don't know. That's always negotiable.

Hello PersonThank you for taking the time to read my post. I hope that what you see & interpret rings a positive cord with you.…that's a reasonable test of one’s character, especially given that we’re brutally honest with each other. It would be that I’m a gentleman with a wild side. Caring & compassionate. Very much a social animal that enjoys people & I have a curious mind. They would also say that that I march to beat of a different drummer-yet very mainstream in the way that I fit into society. After a 27 yr marriage I’m on the market. I’m proud to say that my ex & I lived a very principled life together & accomplished many good things that I would do again. My version of the good life with a life partner is; a committed monogamous relationship that is mutually supportive, accepting, genuinely care for the other person, loving, playful, serious, planning our future, ect. All the emotions that make for a solid relationship.Religion: believer of all and follower of none. Spiritual.Politics: left of center…most of the time.Manners: chew with my mouth closed, elbows off the table (no hunching over one’s meal), use my silverware like they should be—no farm implements here. I tuck my shirts in, & say please and thank you.Family: this is where I really shine. I do love being a family man & a parent. It’s so rewarding to do these things as a couple. To me, to know that you’re a team for a common goal is most nourishing. The couple comes first; that’s the foundation. The focus is on the kids but mom & dad have to be a working unit to raise a family. I’m not so sure how this will play out as my kids are leaving….but you get the idea.Bad habits: I have ***A petite cigar & a brandy after dinner (as a considerate chap; I’ll be sure to be downwind of you***I chew cigars (don’t worry, my teeth & gums are well intact and presentable***Ask meIf this profile resonates with you pls do give me a shout.PS Cooking for me is cathartic & also like creating art that you can eat. Nourishing on many fronts. Happy to choose the venue, but we'll decide together.
