About Me

I am an easy going person that loves to spend time with friends and family. I love to go out and do things and also enjoy spending time at home. I enjoy camping, gardening, going to the zoo (corny as that may sound), sporting events and learning new things and am always looking to better myself. Of course that's not all but a good start.I was married for 22 years and have been single for 6 years now. I am an independent person and own my own home. I do my own shoveling, grass cutting etc. I'm NOT looking for a "lawnboy" but rather someone to have fun with, laugh with, cry with and to just enjoy life with. Someone that can be my best friend and I can be their's. I'm not into yelling and screaming matches but *** things out. I don't NEED someone in my life but *** someone in my life to share the good times and the bad. I am very family oriented, I love kids, and have two sons of my own that are 25 and 21, and are both married to wonderful girls. I am very blessed. Although my boys have their own lives, we still enjoy doing things together. They will always be #1 in my life. The bond I have with my boys is something that I cherish very much!!!! We recently welcomed a new member to our family, which opens up a new chapter in the "Book of Life" for me, being a Grammie!!!! What an awesome experience already!I am a sports nut and love the Red Wings (go figure after raising two boys). I enjoy just about any sport and even used to play soccer myself. I believe anything can be fun but it's the person you spend it with that can make it that much better.I work in the educational field and enjoy my job very much!!!! I am always trying to better myself as a person emotionally, physically and mentally. I recently graduated with my Associates Degree in Accounting, a Certificate in Business and Medical Billing. I'm hoping this opens new opportunities for me.I am the type of person that likes to laugh and enjoy life and what is has to offer. I have a very humorous side but also know when it's time to be serious. I am a positive person and like to surround myself with those that are also positive. We all have our bad days, but you decide to make it a bad day or a better day! I am looking for someone that too is positive, confident in themselves (yet not over the top) and that is ready to enjoy the next chapter of their life with someone special.     I have 2 children, A son 20 and daughter 17. I have nothing against someone that has children (even younger than mine) but I am definately done having babies.
