About Me

I've been divorced for a few years, and I'm ready to take a risk again. I am self-employed, which gives me a sense of pride and accomplishmet. I believe in working hard, setting goals and being responsible. But I also believe in love, and the importance of humour and laughter in a relationship. I've been through loss and sadness (haven't we all?), but I choose to be happy, and to see the beauty and possibility of each day. A positive outlook, the desire to experience joy, and the ability to forgive are what make my life wonderful. I love being outdoors, though I've never had the opportunity to do much camping. Being in the woods, or near the water, brings me peace. I love bonfires, and laying out under the stars. Hiking new trails, wondering what's next around that bend, is very relaxing and enjoyable. I'm also a huge animal lover. I'm a writer, love music, movies, museums...I read voraciously when I can. I exercise about 4 times a week, and love to dance (though I've never learned partner dancing).I'm looking for that mix of fun and vulnerability, friendship and romance. There has to be a spark, an interest, for both of us, and I'll be totally honest with you if it's not there. In fact, I'll be totally honest with you if it IS.     First i would like point out that English is not my first language so if my writing seems a bit odd, now you know why I am European born and raised. I live a pretty healthy life style, i am a good cook and have a pretty sweet tooth. I love to laugh, I love snow days and on a warm summer day you can probably find me at the lake. Someone who is easy to talk to, honest and doesn't stress over small stuff. I want a best friend... someone i can laugh with, have fun, travel, and share my life with.
