I work a lot of hours and I do not have the typical Mon. - Fri. ***job, so it is hard to get out and meet new people. I have been in the same job for 21 years now and have actually learned to deal with the hours. I do like to get out and enjoy my free time when I have it. I have been in 2 long term relationships and a couple of short ones and would like to find someone that could turn into a long term realationship again. I do not plan to jump into anything with anyone over night. I hope to meet someone that I can get to know, realize how much we have in common, and someone who will bring new interest as well. I am a very loyal to my friends, family, work, and that special somone. I believe in blunt honesty no matter what the subject is. I am nowhere near perfect and would never expect that from anyone else as long as honesty is there. I enjoy a nice trip to the beach, but a cabin in the snow covered mountains would be my favorite. I do love to travel and hope to do much more. I have recently started enjoying art and music festivals and try to attend as many as I can. I enjoy just about any music but lean toward singer/songwriters in small venue. VERY casual. If I had the option, I would actually like to skip the first date. Not that I don't enjoy getting to know someone, it is just a nerve racking situation at times. That is why I prefer it to be casual. First meeting - yes that is a better term :) ....meeting at a local restaurant with an outdoor patio, enjoying a glass of wine or cold craft beer and some appetizers wearing the most comfortable jeans I own. If that goes well, there will be future opportunities for a more formal "date"

I'm a bit hesitant to "jump right into" a relationship. I'm still getting my feet grounded here.Enjoy: Sporting events (Go Giants!), live music, comedy shows, theater. I like a good discussion to discover views I may not have considered. I believe in trying to find the positive in everyone. I feel there is possibly a higher power, a creator or multiple Gods/Goddesses. But I believe strongly in the power of human energy. I am more spiritual in my beliefs rather than following a strict religion however I have some Catholic tendencies...I am very fortunate to be surrounded by loving & caring family & friends.I'm more of a hotel girl than a camper, but I'll still go hike and discover new terrain as long as I can end the hike with a hot shower, a good meal, some wine and then resting on a comfy bed with soft pillows and cuddle. Its not an issue for me to have a partner go & do things she wants to do without me. Oddly (because I'm not a camping person), I do like fishing, off-roading and most adventures that are outdoors. My family has a "cabin" so to speak. I love going there. Its close to skiing, (winter) which I don't do but am perfectly fine if my partner does. I've thought about trying snowboarding. Its also close to a lake (summer). People watching is always fun too.Note: Must be pet-friendly, I have 2 cats. Fur, its everywhere I am. So I'm kinda like pig-pen from Peanuts however rather than dirt, its fur. - lol ! I have pet lint rollers stashed EVERYWHERE!Note 2: I know that I do not want to have children. If you have kid(s) already- no problem. Note 3: I have tatts (just a heads up).Working on getting some more current pics up... First date. hmmm. I suppose it would depend on the other person. Billiards, coffee/tea, mini-golf, a museum... or something more simple or light-hearted & fun so that conversation can flow.
