I am a head on straight, kinda feisty girl.. who loves to laugh and am rarely found without a smile.Every day is a new opportunity to take life by the horns and I believe that strangers are friends I haven't met yet. I am a family girl.. and believe that my family is one of the most important possessions of my heart. I do not surround myself with a lot of people, as having a Lot of friends is not important to me. Rather, I have a small, tight-knit core group of people that I am connected to heart to heart, some of them I've been friends with for over 15 years.My friends and family will tell you that I am kind, loving, loyal, sweet, forgiving, truthful, and fair. My joy is contagious, and I love making people laugh whether I know them or not.I am emotionally stable, pretty grounded, and I have a faith in the good of people that gives me an example of how to live my life.I have big dreams, and I'm a handful (think Muppet-esque), but that should work for the right guy.What makes me unique is that I live my life with integrity, honesty and an optimistic outlook. I truly care about those around me. I do what I say, and mean what I say as well; no double-talk here. I am a laid--girl that gets along with everyone. Am easy-going and pretty comfortable anywhere; I love great conversation about pretty much everything except quantum physics. lol.I look for and usually find the humor in every situation.. and yes for me, laughing IS a daily requirement.My sense of humor leans towards the dark and sarcastic, with a dash of silly. Laughing IS a life requirement. If you're not laughing every day, something is wrong.I love to write and am truly a voracious reader. I usually have 2 books going at once. I love movies. I do not own a tv.A true foodie at heart..I should tell you now that I will occasionally dissolve into a fit of giggles.. but only if I am super comfortable around you. Fiercely loyal to those I am close to, I have a passion for life that I don't see in very many people.$; I like country..-between on my IPod. I love to dance and I do well at the waltz, 2-Step, and some other stuff.I think being active is important, though I am far from a gym rat. I count snow skiing as one of my passions, but it is far from the only one. A healthy lifestyle is important to me, but I'm not militant about it. It really is about balance, and I do admit to being a fan of all things ice cream. ;)I love to be on horseback, it is one of the places I am graceful.My favorite place to be outside is anywhere near a body of water. Love to travel, definitely want to do more, and I would like to meet a man who also enjoys that. Discovering other cultures is exciting to me. Wanna help?I believe timing has a lot to do with the success of a relationship.. and with that being said, I am looking for that one man who gives me butterflies and keeps a smile on my face all day. My best friend, the one I think of first when I have anything or nothing to share.I lean towards and click best with men who laugh easily & often, value integrity in relationships, and no longer identify as a 'player'.At this point in life, we are both emotionally available, detest drama, have reduced our respective baggage to a carry-on, and occasionally break out in song or dance in the rain.     Something about myself, huh?I'm very low maintenance. I can fix my own appliances, do just about any home improvement project or do my own hair and nails. I am involved with animal rescue. I foster animals taken from shelter's euthanasia lists, usually a pregnant dog or a mama with new babies. You MUST love animals. I've even rehabilitated baby raccoons.     I have spent a number of years in the land of the sun and realized that everything is not wonderful with fabulous weather. I am not sure what I am looking for however I do know that I will not deal with any drama. I am long past the time to play games, I don't jump from man to man and I am just fine being alone for the right reason than with someone for the wrong ones. I have a son and grandson (who I absolutely adore!) I am close to my family and have a very large extended family. I have lived a few places and love to travel. Anything else....
