Looking for an inexplicable connection...I admit that perhaps my standards are slightly unreasonable if I'm searching for something that is more easily accessible through face to face communication (in addition to the fact that I'm unable to reference any tangible criteria in regards to what I'm looking for), but I've had unexplainable connections before, so I know that they do exist! I have been fortunate enough to travel relatively consistently all my life (does that quantifier make me sound older than I am?), I'm extremely active (exercise is an imperative part of my daily routine--no exceptions), and am open-minded in trying almost anything at least once. I'm currently in the midst of my Yoga Teacher Training, which is another passion of mine--certainly not for the "gymnastics" of the postures that are often equated with yoga in the west, but for what it truly is--union. I like too many things for my own good: Reading (currently reading "The Motorcycle Diaries" and "A Brief History of Nearly Everything"), writing, learning Spanish, ethic foods, eating healthy, cross country skiing, swimming, running, horses (I use to be a competitive rider, but now I simply ride for fun), backpacking (I've done a number of amazing trips), kayaking, canoeing, stand up paddle boarding, going out for beers, museums, breakfast, wool socks, biology ID books, playing the guitar, piano and ukulele, primates, sleeping, building things, travel...etc.I've traveled to and/or lived in several countries and look forward to much more traveling in my life. I really love Latin culture and would love to bike around south America with the right partner one day. I don't wear makeup, and very rarely dress up... but if the occasion calls, I'll put on a stunning dress and drop some jaws.
