don't take me too seriously :) and don't read too deep into this stuff, i'm pretty open to questions, so if u have them just ask :) here's a lil intro to me....i'm serious and sarcastic, guarded but giving, opinionated and open-mined, analytical and curious, simple and complicated, stubborn and proud, terrified but determined. i love the mystery of living but i'll always seek out the truth. my brain and my heart are bitter enemies. i'm not happy all the time- but that doesn't mean i'm sad. i'm more comfortable giving or doing rather than receiving. i love people and hate them. sometimes i need to be alone, sometimes i can't stand it. i tell the truth too much- i'm not good at being fake. i say what i feel, and know what i want. i dream and remember every crazy detail. i'd rather fight for something than walk away. i'd do anything for a good friend. i'm not afraid of sacrifice or compromise. i think love is the most important thing in the world....although i'm not sure if i believe in it ;) i'm a mom of 13yr old. i'm about to go back to school for a second BA, but i eventually wanna get my masters in counseling. i bought a house in a small town a few years ago. i have cats and a boxer, i'm def an animal lover. i'm a big recycler :) i love to go out and shoot pool and have some beers and pizza with my friends, or dancing, or live music, or just stay in and watch movies...typical stuff. i love being outside and i love being on water, someday i will own a boat :) fyi...u gotta have a smile pic on ur profile or i'm gonna ask for one right away :) Nothing wrong with beer, pool and pizza :)

As I read the questions, I can't help but wonder- would anyone honestly admit to being a drug addict who doesn't own a car? Just saying...At this point in my life, I've learned quite a bit about who I am and my beliefs. I have fun doing nearly anything because it's about who I'm with not the activity. I love camping and bonfires but I also get equally excited over a museum. Other highlights would be that 1. Laughter and good conversation is non-negotiable 2.Sundays are Fun Days and if the Packers are playing- that IS the plan for the day! And once you factor in pre and post-game festivities it really is a day long event 3. I have two cats***that is smart and one that would ride the short bus:) I love them both and they are not going anywhere 4. Family is important however, if a person is TOO close- it simply becomes weird. 5. The concept that it may be too late for coffee is foreign to me. 6. It is OK to have different opinions 7. Transformers, X-Men and the whole Marvel movie series is not just for boys 8. If you watch Doomsday Preppers for tips and not for entertainment value only- I will laugh at you.As for who I look for, because of my height, I prefer guys who are taller. While summertime may be flip flop season, I tend to favor heels other times of the year and am not into the whole Amazon woman look. I also like guys who like to do a variety of activities. During the summer I love camping and being on boats and who doesn't like to take advantage of outdoor seating at restaurants? In winter, I'm indoorsy because I get cold but I don't mind riding on the back of a snowmobile and I'd like to try snow-shoeing or cross country skiing at some point. Finally, intelligence is also very important to me- it's probably what's most important. I read a lot and follow the news and as I said above, excellent conversation is a must-have! When it comes to dating, I believe in seeing where things go. Maybe a friendship will develop, maybe something more, maybe nothing and that's OK too. In the end, everything is an experience and things work out however they should. In all honesty- to me, the best first dates are simple- especially for a first meeting. A happy hour or coffee shop can be great. If it goes well, you can always turn it into something more but if the chemistry is off- at least it's a short lived experience and possibly a story to tell!
