I've been divorced over a year now and have two kids (teens) who are the main focus of my life. But, to be honest, I'm missing the companionship of a man. I served in the Army right out of high school and was stationed in Germany and I've been overseas to many different countries and would like to revisit those places someday. I was raised by a single mother who struggled most of her life to raise my brother and I. She inspired me to be strong and independent. I have been told I'm fun to be around. However, I feel kind of shy in new situations sometimes. Being single is not something I am used to and I am definitely out of practice when it comes to dating. It's been 20 years since I was single. I do miss the passion and the newness of a relationship. I like that feeling you get in your stomach (butterflies) when that connection is mutual. If I sound interesting, I'd like to start via *** how it goes from there. I am very responsible, definitely have my life together and I can afford to treat myself and my children well. I'm looking for someone between ***, fun to be around, responsible, has a sense of humor and just loves enjoying life. My mother passed away suddenly of a heart attack and I miss her a lot. I've learned that life is too short and you just never know when your time is up, so I'm getting out of my comfort zone and putting myself out there with the hope that I can rewrite my happy ending.
