******No Inmates******Yes...this is a lot to read...but it gives you a good idea of who I am. :) I'm just looking for friends first. I also like blue collar, maybe a little redneck or good ole boy...lol..but sweet, kind and passionate where it counts...a gentleman..affectionate..I'm not into the motorcycle thing..but I do like a big truck...I like to be treated like a lady and I like to treat a good man like a man.;). Big muscles and big bank account...not important...big heart...super important :).More about me: I'm a romantic person, I wake up happy or at least positive, I stop and smell the roses, I love a great sense of humor, people that never smile bum me out...I don't like arguing and angst. Things I absolutely do not like (tolerate) or bend on: If you have a criminal history I do not, will not and can not hang out with you, same with drugs, no drugs users need apply. Seriously...those are biggies and there is no compromise. I also don't like dead-beat or rotten parents. There's nothing worse than seeing a child hurt, humiliated, *** neglected by a parent. Same with animals, same with your mama. It's all so telling and bad/cruel behavior towards all people, but especially those that love you the most, is a deal-breaker in friendship and in love with me. I have zero tolerance for angry, hot tempered, overly jealous, violent people. If you have ever hit a woman then go away. Seriously...I live a pretty drama free life and I will not have that kind of ugliness attached to me in any way. I'm a mellow peaceable type B)...lol. We're all grown up here and not youngsters anymore so lets all be realistic and honest...I don't look I did when I was 25 and chances are you don't either..;). I'm not a Barbie doll and I'm not thin...but I'm a friggin sweatheart...lol...;). No false advertising here...:)Lastly....chances are we have all had ex's that treated us poorly or whatever...I'm not your ex-wife and you're not my ex-husband so lets not punish each other for what others have done...Talk about it? Sure...of course...but if you're still bitter....we probably won't get along. I've been hurt too...we all have. I'm moving on..:) Also, though my boys are grown and gone...sigh..I'm very open to children :). I miss having a family with me so bring it on!****is a favorite...he slays me!Music: I'm all over the place!....lol.....***! I always say I can go from June Clever to Joan Jett in 60 seconds...lol! I enjoy keeping a nice home and making holiday dinners, lacy and silky clothes (mostly pajamas), French perfume, natural, organic, vanilla, rose or patchouli baths (I'm trying my best to go organic with everything... when I can), working out, absolutely love rafting the river and I enjoy going on nature walks, preferably with somebody nice. My favorite television is the Antiques Roadshow, PBS mysteries, Futurama, Family Guy, Spongebob, SNL and SOA. I like traditional Gothic literature, not the new stuff. I love old classic romantic movies from the ***s-..... so well, you get the picture!People tell me that I'm on the dreamy side: Rainbows, unicorns, fairies, angels... and I guess that is mostly true, but I am a realist too and I know how to take care of business. I am what some people would call a "girly girl", I work out everyday but I'm not athletic or thin. I am a talented, creative, curvy woman who is very comfortable being feminine. I am not masculine at all. If you like cowgirls or tomboys, you probably won't like me very much! I am a bit of a grease monkey for my job, but that's about as boyish as I get and that's only because I have to do it. I am a strict vegetarian for myself and talk about it a lot, but I accept outside choices for others, I just don't like it. My political views tend to lean more to the left than the right, some of the time I'm in the middle. I believe in freedom for everyone not just the privileged. If you are a devout republican (like my ex) then be prepared for a debate or do not discuss it with me. Probably my favorite thing to do with my boyfriend is watch tv together in bed!-informed propaganda they were attempting to report!I think it would be great to meet someone nice for friendship and doing fun things together: dinner, movies, playing board games, talking, road trips, museums, art galleries, concerts or whatever else.If a romance develops that would be wonderful! If not, then fond friendship is fine with me and I feel happy to say that I have had the great fortune to retain all of my previous boyfriends as friends, some closer friends than others, but still I am friendly towards all of them regardless of whatever happened in the past. I tend to prefer the type of man who is successful in his field and who knows how to value and treat a lady. I prefer the type of man who knows how to protect and take care of a woman. But I am not completely selfish, I know how to give and receive and once a relationship is established, I am very loyal and supportive. I am proud to be a Christian, not prideful, but rather happy to know and serve the Lord, and I try to live up to the meaning of what that truly means everyday. So, because my faith defines Who I Am, I do ask if you contact me, please be a genuine Christian because otherwise we probably would not be compatible and I have learned that there is no exception to this, at least for me there's not.I would like to meet someone who makes me smile, who doesn't feel the need to control me or be my superior, who isn't out to use me. Ultimately I would like to meet the right man for more than just friendship but everyone is not a perfect fit and I don't want to jam a square peg into a round hole! But please know this, I am not a player nor am I interested in meeting any players or anyone who is searching for an "intimate encounter" (ie, one night stand). I have learned that some men say that they are a Christian, but they certainly do not always act like one! For a third date, dinner and a movie, then going home for coffee and desert afterward and maybe playing a board game or cards, talking or even watching a movie on TV. I am always up for antiquing, too or going to museums, art shows, the theater, or wine tasting is fun. But I'm pretty much open to as whatever my date and I agree would be fun or interesting.

I just recently started my Masters in Nursing which I'd been considering for a few years. In June I went to the Dominican Republic for a friends wedding, and while sitting on the beach one day, with drink in hand, I found myself pinky swearing with my other girlfriend to go through the program with her. I am such a sucker, lol, but as I am huge believer in life long learning I am excited to see where this next phase in life will lead me. I love to laugh and enjoy time with my two amazing daughters, friends, family. I'm a mix between a homebody and adventurer. I love to travel (day trips, domestic and international), go to a Giants game, ride the ferry to the city, listen to music on the town green and spend time at the lake with friends in the summer.
