About me, I have a great family and I have a great group of friends that I love to see when I get the chance; life does get busy. I tend to be funny, so I am told. I guess it usually happens accidentally, but it usually works out for the best. I like the simple pleasures in life, such as, movies, going to dinner, just hanging out at home, museums, mini golf, the zoo, going out, concerts, sporting events, pretty much anything that I can have fun doing and have fun with whomever I am with. I absolutely LOVE The Blackhawks and going to games! There is nothing like a going to the United Center for a game! I like music, usually Country. My hobbies include; writing, scrapbooking, reading, cooking, things to that affect. I have tried meeting people through friends, blind dates, and at bars but all of that gets fairly old very quickly. I am looking to meet a nice, well-rounded individual that has some of the same interest and values I have. I am a very outgoing person and have a great personality. I get along with everyone really well. I love laughing and usually am ok with making fun of myself. I like to be silly at times. I am good with friendly "teasing," if I can take it, I can also dish it out; so have a good sense of humor, no uptight people! I am OK with saying I am kind of a "dork!" It would be nice to meet someone who can laugh at themselves as well. Life is too short to not laugh and enjoy it as much as possible! I like guys who can take control of a situation, such as making certain decisions on plans. I like guys who open doors and treat girls with respect. I would like to believe chivalry still exists in guys. I do NOT like liars or people who say things they "think you want to hear." I'd rather have someone who can be honest and say how they feel, than someone who *** situation/problem. Nothing gets resolved by not talking about it. Please be able to communicate. I am very comfortable being dressed up and wearing high heels as much as I am being in jeans/t-shirt. I need a guy who is just as versatile. I like guys who aren't too pushy in a relationship, but like to get to know the person first. I am not the type of girl who is into dating alot of people; I would just like to find a good guy to get to know and spend time with and take it from there. I tend to be very easy to get along with, I don't like much of the complications that relationships tend to emulate. I don't want guys that are involved in too much drama, that isn't for me. I would just like to meet someone that I can have a cup of coffee with or go to dinner with. Basically, just meet somebody and no matter what we end up doing, having a good time with it. I think relationships are difficult enough, so I want to find someone that I can be comfortable around just being myself. I don't want to sound shallow, but I do believe that appearance is important when you initailly first meet someone. I think you have to be physically attracted to someone to begin with. Most people don't just go up to people and ask them out if there is no attraction. So, in the beginning attraction is important, but it becomes less important to me as I get to know the person. Once I get to know someone, it isn't there looks at all, but their personality and how well we get along and relate to each other. In the end that is the most important factor. With that said, if I don't respond to a message, please don't take it personally. Most likely because I don't think there could be a connection for whatever reason and I don't believe in wasting my time or anyone elses for something that will not go anywhere. I have never tried online dating, so I am only doing this because I want to meet someone who is seriously interested in getting to know someone else. Plus, I get to talk to people I normally wouldn't have come across in my daily life! I am fine with hanging out and getting to know each other and go from there. I have dated enough people who have exhausted my time, that is not for me. So please only talk to me if you are serious about getting to know someone and can see what can develop. So, I guess if you are interested and I sound interesting let me know! I believe a first date should consist of something simple, so that 2 people can sit and talk to each other and get to know one another. Maybe going to get coffee, a drink or something to that affect. No movies or concerts or anything excessively loud because that would defeat the purpose of "getting to know someone." Although, something kind of random and out of the ordinary could be an interesting choice or a fun first date story!

    Well here goes nothing....I'm a single mom of a beautiful 3 year old girl, she is my number one priority and nothing will ever change that.
