Looking to find someone I can build a friendship with and see if it turns into more. If I like someone I do focus on that person to see what develops and I want to meet someone who can do the same thing for me. I'm not saying after the 1st or even 3rd or 5th date to make a commitment. Communication is key in order to develop trust and comfort. I do want a relationship eventually and that takes effort and commitment at an agreed upon pace. I'm not going to settle for the sake of not being 'alone'. I have a 12 year old daughter who is with me 100% of the time. I go to the gym ***times a week and also love being outside, hiking, outdoor activities and games, mud run/obstacle courses, pool time, camping, parks and festivals. I also like to stay in or go out for a movie, travel to new parts of town to experience dining, shops, art, live music/concerts and new events. Music is my favorite entertainment/art medium. I have a large music collection but mainly listen to alternative and indie rock, hip-hop/trip-hop/edm DJ's, and singer-songwriters. I also enjoy hard rock, classic rock, and some mainstream/pop artists. What I'm looking for in a partner is simple. An independent and professional male who can make me laugh, whom I can trust, is laid back (though high energy is great), and open-minded. Above that, I don't have a cookie cutter expectation of who I want to meet. Meeting in person will determine if there is attraction, chemistry and a potential match.
