I'm employed full time. I drink too much coffee. I love country music. I have a heart for almost all animals and have two cats that I adore and while you don't have to love them too, if you're one of those people who thinks cats are evil incarnate, this probably isn't going to work. I have a weird fascination with those awful movies on the SyFy channel. I don't really trust people who don't like ice cream.I'm not religious. I won't think you're a terrible person for any of it, but it does mean I'm not the girl for you.I like being outside, mostly when it's sunny but I wouldn't mind learning to ski so I maybe I wouldn't despise winter so much. I love going to sporting events, Indians, Chiefs, Shock, etc and am dying to go to a Seahawks game. I like movies, coffee, dinner, etc. I've been trying to exercise and stay more active.I'm pretty laid back, don't like drama. I've often been told that I'm funny... I won't tell you that because then there would be too much pressure and I probably wouldn't be funny and I'd end up not funny (unfunny?) and a liar. I have off days like anyone but for the most part, I try to stay positive and enjoy the heck out of this thing called life. Kind of hit a stand still on how to meet people so thought I'd give this a shot. Though I'm not necessarily a shy person, I can be when I don't know someone. Unfortunately in social situations this tends to come off as aloof and/or snobby. I don't really like the part of this site where it asks what you are looking for. I'm still new to this online dating thing and not totally comfortable with it yet. I definitely want to find a relationship at some point; I just don't want to force it. Something where we can talk... coffee (big surprise), walk in the park, etc. I love movies but it makes it difficult to get to know someone. A first date when you haven't previously met the person should probably be fairly casual... lots of conversation and assessing attraction, easy out if there isn't any.

Welcome! So to start off I'm a born and raised Vancouverite, which is unusual these days it seems. That being said, I'm not a very good Vancouverite since I don't do yoga, I don't wear a toque in the middle of summer, I don't know how to ski or snowboard (though I'm not against learning!), I don't own anything by lululemon, I can't possibly figure out how to eat all organic, natural and local food while following the latest random health craze (and staying within a reasonable budget), I'm not a bandwagon jumper (I love my teams, through wins and losses), I like to ride my bike, but I also have a car which truthfully gets me around more easily than my bike (but it doesn't mean that I don't care about the environment) and lastly, I probably don't know that obscure band that you are talking about (though I'd love to hear them and will probably like them). I'm open minded and not pretentious. I'm looking for someone of a similar nature. I care about what's going on in the world and am definitely a news junkie. I used to work in international affairs, I continue to volunteer with the Red Cross and respond to disasters when necessary. I have a professional career that allows me to take care of myself. I love to travel. I've been to a few interesting places, heard of Djibouti? I'm pretty easy going, but definitely have opinions, I'm a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl and I'm close to my family. When I go out, it's usually to a pub with friends to watch a Canucks game, watch a band play or hang out on a patio. I'm a big sports fan, hockey, soccer and football being my favourites. I like to stay active and be outdoors in general. I play soccer a few times a week and have a pretty blue bike that needs to get out more. I laugh at myself easily, which is good, since I'm easy to tease apparently. If you're going to send me a message, please write more than a few words. I love the outdoors I love to go fishing hunting camping 4x4ing all of that fun stuff. It says I am disabled yes I am but I don't let it get me down I still do the things I want to do.
