Woman. 35 years old. Zodiac sign: Aries.
Looking for: man. In age: 32-42
It's high time I put some effort into writing an actual profile. Now that I have some experience fishing, I can expound a bit about what I want and need...I live creatively and have come to accept that the ideal of 'fitting in' may not exist. For me, trusting my *** following my heart have been more rewarding. My uniqueness lies in my spirit- I am a big picture, big dreamer, passionate, no rules kind of person. That being said, I also have strong values in regard to family, loyalty, ambition, self-respect, health and honesty. Some of the things I like to do are sculpt, paint, draw, build, sew, write, dance, journal, read, teach, converse, cook, bike, play music, listen to music, climb, hike, walk, stretch, dream big, invest, travel, meet others. My musical taste is varied. Music has and always will be a big part of my life. I want to find someone who has a realistic approach to dating, a more traditional get-to-know you approach. It took me a while to give up the idea of finding a good relationship. Now I aim to find a truly compatible person with whom I can carve out a solid relationship. It takes a lot of courage and responsibility to steer one's own ship. I hope to find another who accepts the challenge of moving slowly and deliberately through life. Self control, responsibility, emotional intimacy, creativity, open-mindedness and self-worth are all essential. I denoted that I am a social drinker, but I rarely partake. I cannot have a relationship with heavy drinkers and will not compromise on this. “To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.” -Osho

Woman. 32 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.
Looking for: man. In age: 29-39
I love to travel. I've been to 58 countries and still have so much more to see and several places I'd like to go back to. I work in the arts and love having a job I get to be creative in every day. I love trying and experiencing new things and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I enjoy hiking and camping but also love getting dressed up and going out for drinks, dancing or even going to an art gallery or opera. I guess what I'm looking for at this point in life is someone fun, adventurous, optimistic, caring, honest and has something in their life that they're passionate about. A sense of humor is a must and hopefully we'd share some complimentary interests and values. That being said I'm not looking to rush into anything. Just to go on a few simple dates and see if there's a good connection. Open to suggestions.

A little about me....I have a great group of friends (although I'm sure everyone feels this way-otherwise they wouldn't be your friends), but I promise if you met them you would agree! These are some of the things I like to do: First Friday on the Green, Concerts in the Gardens, local tastings, The Kimbell, antiquing (please don't be scared, remember the friends I mentioned earlier-they can go in your place! I love what I do and want to give fair warning, I talk about it a lot. The idea of having a "job," where you just go in, work and leave isn't something I really understand. Everyday I get to see kiddos learning and growing-it's pretty fantastic! And here's the tough part-what I'm looking for. I don't want to answer anything cookie cutter because let's be honest we all want someone nice, that makes us laugh and that we are attracted to. I tend to like men that are passionate about their careers (whatever it is), quirky and a bit on the nerdy side (so in a way someone that compliments my personality). And now a little more about me: I'm quirky, I tend to talk a lot, I'm a morning person (sorry but true), I can cook about four things really well and the rest....lets just say I put a lot of effort in. My faith is my foundation. Being involved in your community makes it better! Saturday mornings are my favorite time of the week-they just feel different. I do agree that wedges are the heels of your thirties. I adore the elderly, we have so much to learn from them. Patio weather and live music makes the world a beautiful place. A cold schooner on a hot day with a friend and a great story is pretty amazing. My dog is hilarious. I'm an active volunteer with some wonderful organizations. I'm addicted to passion tea from Starbucks, and super allergic to diet coke. A picnic in the park can set the world right. These are some of my favorite quotes:Your beliefs don't make you a better person, your behavior does. A book is proof that humans can work magic. If the whole world was blind, how many people would you impress? You can tell how smart people are by what they laugh at. I hope that gives you a little insight into me-if only tone and wit could come through! I'd love to hear from you if you are interested, and if not, good luck on your search.
