About Me

Here's my story...I've been divorced a couple years out of a ***yr relationship, took some time to recover and now ready to venture out into the wild world of dating, something I never thought I'd be doing when I got married but, such is life. Figured this would be a good place to start, so all you guys don't let me down k!Not planning to rush into anything serious, but am a very versatile, never say never type. It all depends on what happens & who I meet! I'm drawn to those who are artistic & share my interests in music (of all kinds), cinema, and the arts in general as well as travel (which I haven't gotten to do near enough of!). I love to sing and still hope to learn piano, guitar, or both one day. I occasionally write poetry and I like to read. Been told I have a good balance of intellect and common sense, I tend to know a little about a lot and a lot about a little. I'm very curious and am always asking questions because I usually need to know the how, what, when, and why of things. So being a good conversationalist is a must. I've been strongly considering going back to college to get my degree, just not positive yet.I'm a curvy woman in (mostly) all the right places, so someone who likes that as opposed to a petite woman is important (have a bit of a jelly belly), I'm not in as good of shape as I'd like so want to be more active. Motivation and healthy influence in this area would be awesome given I'm accepted as I am to begin with. Will glam it up to go out, but don't get fixed up to go to the grocery store. Fellas looking for a trophy, I'm not your gal. Looks aren't the most important thing, but realistically there has to be some attraction and either it's there or it's not for both. It can grow or disappear getting to know someone, ugly on the inside makes a person unattractive all around.I want to meet a gentleman who has good southern values (not a saint) and is Christian that knows how to treat a lady with respect and I'll be one in return. Doesn't mean I'm high maintenance, I know my self worth. There's not a fake bone in my body so I can't can't tolerate pretentiousness or snobbery, life is about sooo much more than things & way too short for them to take center focus. Time is too precious for anyone to waste so I do my best to be upfront and honest. Laid back & easy going are my type of people. Of course everyone likes a good sense of humor too, right? Being funny is a big plus since I love comedy & to laugh! Thanks for reading my epic novel!! PEACE, LOVE, & ROCK & ROLL!! My ideal date would be creative & a SURPRISE (as long as it doesn't involve physical danger!). Well, actually that goes for a second date, I want to know you before I let you surprise me. First dates themselves are surprise enough!!So that would leave it at a public place to meet (I don't know if you're safe yet!) where we can talk & get to know each other comfortably, somewhere agreeable to both. That's fair right?

    *** Update**** I'm a true 10 yr +!!!That doesn't mean I don't like the Seahawks. I don't talk trash about them, I'm an adult and learned how to play nice n the sandbox! Do u want to know what I want on a first date or what I've experienced on first dates?Let's answer the first part like this, any first date is going to be a bit awkward or nerve racking. My ideal of a first date is comfortable n real. No pretending, or acting, please no games. Just be you.As for my past experience on first dates, well I haven't had a lot but I don't regret having the ones I did. Created good friendships out of some of those first dates, just because a relationship doesn't happen doesn't mean a friendship can't take place.
