Woman. 55 years old. Zodiac sign: Virgo.
Looking for: man. In age: 52-62
Thanks for stopping by and reading my profile! How do I describe myself? Independent, confident, cheerful, outgoing, honest, conscientious, generous, positive, sporty, humorous, somewhat ambitious, adventurous, direct and genuine. My family and friends are important to me and I enjoy spending as much time as possible with them. I am very active and exercise is a big part of my life. It keeps me healthy, young in mind, body and spirit and sane! For activities, I enjoy many outdoor sports like hiking, cross-country skiing, swimming, running (although currently injured) snowshoeing, etc. Indoors, it's the gym ***x/week. I also enjoy attending or watching sporting events. As much as I love being active, I also enjoy relaxing at home catching up on "stuff", watching movies, reading, cooking for others, whatever! I like to have fun and love to make people laugh, never taking life too seriously, though I do have a serious side when necessary. Most importantly, I'm an honest, fun, trustworthy, and a straight forward gal. I'd like to share life's future journey with the right person...definitely one of my favorite spots to play and explore when not working or doing things locally. I'd enjoy spending time with someone who has similar interests although I'm open to new adventures and experiences! All my photos are recent, with the oldest being two years. Lastly, I do believe that friendship and chemistry must exist between two people for a relationship to be successful. Friendship is the foundation of a lasting relationship and is important before taking the relationship to the next level. If we go out and find friendship and chemistry is lacking, we gave it a try, hopefully enjoyed each others company and had some fun! Thanks for reading and good luck with your search! My first date would be something simple, like a cup of coffee or a drink. It's a good way to get to know each other, without pressure or expense and will hopefully determine if there might be a second date! If we find chemistry is lacking, hopefully we enjoyed each other's company and had some fun!

Woman. 51 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.
Looking for: man. In age: 48-58
Hi! I'm a hard working, usually responsible, deep thinking, self analyzing, artistic person. I have pets and plants that keep me grounded. My daughters are grown and living elsewhere, although I will drop everything when they call. My yard is now taking a lot of my time-could use assistance. lol I have a great sense of humor, am a bit opinionated and persevere through tough times. I try to see the best in people and remain optimistic despite life's twists and turns.Traveling is one of my favorite activities. I have European roots and have been to Europe and India. I enjoy dinner, dancing, the beach, movies and live theatre. We can take in a museum or walk through a state park. I want to work on fitness this year and need some guidance in this department. .My church and faith are important to me.; heavy metal or rap makes me crazy and Marley makes me lazy, but other than that anything goes.-type shows, classical, bluegrass or country and want to upgrade to smaller venues with talented Indie artists. I enjoy movies-usually action, romantic comedies, dramas or sci-fi-not horror. Many cuisines are appealing to me, including Italian, Seafood, Mexican or traditional Southern fare, but I especially like restaurants that cook better than I do. I'll even sample your cooking, bring wine and do the dishes. I've never been to a comedy club, but love to laugh so would probably enjoy that. Most gentlemen are into outdoor activities. The arts and sports don't usually mix, but my association with band allows me to follow the plays of football and basketball. I also would like to see the Hurricanes in action or a Panthers game. I'm scared to get involved with golf, because I'd probably become obsessed-have never held a club. I windsurfed once and loved it, even though I got wet a lot. I also love to feel the breeze on a boat and would enjoy kayaking-just haven't had the time or equipment. I'll walk pretty much anywhere in the sunlight, but wouldn't go rock climbing or rappelling. I love snow but have never been skiing or skating. If you don't mind a tight hug, I'd ride a motorcycle. I would love to ride horses but I do not care for NASCAR, hunting or tractor pulls. To me, a relationship involves mutual respect, truly caring about the other person and romance. I can appreciate friendship or being swept off my feet, but for the long haul, a relationship needs both. I'm looking for someone honest, funny, romantic and intelligent. Someone with kind eyes and a genuine smile.) I may have to check which ACC team you pull for...-If I showed you my dark side, would you run away? OOps, not supposed to go too deep on these profiles...I lean toward the liberal side but teach my students patriotic values. I figure we're here (on earth, not the site) to make a difference, learn new things and build up others while following the golden rule. Do you still have dreams? Want adventures? I'd like to continue on life's journey in tandem. Then walk around downtown to see the veteran's memorial park. If conversation is still moving along, have an ale at Huske Hardware or a chardonnay at Pierro's. Then follow up with coffee, etc. afterwards to be still and talk.If life were a movie, I'd follow you through the labyrinth of a beautiful forest until we got to the center of the maze where you had set up a nice meal with candles and wine.
