I so believe a true sign of being in a good place with your life is the ability to make oneself happy. I have that along with a very close family, the neatest little grandkids, and awesome friends. Describe me? Very fun loving, easy going, classy woman that has a lot of playfulness, passion to share. I love to laugh and can laugh freely at myself! I know how to dress and will never look trashy or try to jump the fence to a younger age than I am. I am completely content with my age, no mid life crisis here, formal dress to jeans and T-shirt in a flash! I do expect the same in return. Friends and Family - Extremely important to me, I will always be there for them no matter what!Movies - Not a horror flick fan, action OK, and when in the mood a chick flick is great.TV - Watch a lot of news, cooking channels, a little HBO Books - Haven't had time to really read a novel lately, pretty much news or info on the netSports - Will watch football and World cup if it is on, not a necessity of mine. To my surprise I am watching NASCAR, friends converted me!Camping - Hmmm not so much, prefer real bathroom with a shower!Motorcycles - If you have one and I feel comfy I may go and get used to it. Honestly, you could post 50 pics of your Harley and I will not be impressed. I do love to cook. To experience a dish at a restaurant and duplicate it at home is most satisfying! To have someone in the kitchen enjoying every added spice is a great time for me. So be prepared to help even if it is just quality control! What am I looking for? A man who is comfortable in his own life. Someone who has time to share and enjoy some quality time together. If it turns into something long term and fabulous that would be great, if not, I hope I have made a new friend. I AM NOT looking for a "Sugar Daddy" or replacement husband! And honestly, if you are looking for a friend with benefits type of relationship I am not your girl. Please, please move on. Yes, I am very separated for over 5 years, can't wait for the final paperwork. It's been a struggle both parties moving out of state but filing in another. Sign of the times that we have this new way of making contact with others who have the same goals. I'm new to it but open and optimistic that it is possible to meet someone??!! I have been on my own for several years now and have made some big changes to embrace my new life. Having always been a "beach girl" at heart, living in Silicon Valley for many years always felt somewhat stifling. Last month I moved to one of the beautiful SoCal beach cities! I am really looking forward to getting settled in and find my way around. I have four beautiful, crazy, funny, unique kids that keep my life from ever being dull and boring. I must warn anyone reading this, only one is out of the nest. Fortunately, I have a great co-parenting situation so I am NOT looking for a father for them and I DO have some free time! Free time, I am creative and love to paint, design, collect things. I am passionate about houses. Specifically old houses and have had the good fortune to renovate multiple old homes. I love the entire process from finding the perfect project through all the stages until a wonderful home is completed. I love being physically active. Run, walk, hike, yoga, dance. I am going to get a pair of rollerblades ASAP for use on the Strand. As for a profession, I was a nurse but it has been many years since I have practiced. I miss it and might think of a way to get back into the field at some point. The adrenaline junkie in me misses the intensity of a busy ICU. what else?! Guess I should mention that I have no sense of humor what so ever. I am never entertained by the absurd and unique oddities of life. I like my men boring as a rock. If you are the type that would make me laugh, like the kind of laughing that would make you snort, forget it. And teasing, kidding and being playful is definitely out. What good is any of that? Intelligence and being very physical, also very low priority on my bucket list. Hmmm Oh my gosh, I am adding this last sentence because someone actually thought I was serious about my previous paragraph and compared me to their ex! Seriously!?
