Hello! I have a good sense of humor and believe in the power of laughter. I am easy going, good natured, and honest. The most important things to me are the relationships that I have with my family and my friends. I have friends for ***years and those kinds of long lasting friendships are priceless. It's the little things that count the most, those things that form the threads of a strong relationship. I enjoy spending time with those I love whether it's a concert in the park, a movie or play, watching tv, walking the dog or simply hanging out. I love the desert heat, enjoy taking walks or hikes, going to the beach, and when I have the time I would like to travel more and explore new places. I am comfortable hanging out at home but also enjoy museums, concerts, and doing things around town. I like to learn new things, have intellectual conversations, and play the occasional practical joke on my family, friends, or co-workers. Importantly, I value honesty and integrity. I have the good fortune to be close to my children who are now adults. They actually like to be around their mom, and we have a lot of fun together as a family. I am confident enough to go to movies or restaurants by myself without feeling self-conscious and I can easily entertain myself with quilting, antique shopping, going to the beach or attending an outdoor fair. I am looking for my partner in life, my lover, my best friend to share every day life with, and make each day an adventure! I'm not a women who "needs" a man but a woman who "wants" one. I am looking for someone that is independent, has a good sense of humor, who is a gentleman, someone to laugh with, have an intelligent conversation with, and we can enjoy spending time together and do all the things that couples do. I like to travel but admittedly most of my travels have remained domestic.     Okay here we go.... I know you're out there! Please don't be a smoker, geographically undesirable, DULL, or old enough to date my mother. Do be fit, funny, financially secure, and good looking is always a bonus. I consider myself attractive, not a super model, but I think I clean up pretty well, and in decent shape. The current love of my life is my dog, if you can't stand the competition don't bother replying. A really good day is heading off with him for a hike and coming home to sit on my deck relaxing as the sun sets with a great glass of wine. I'm optimistic, enthusiastic, independant (sometimes to a fault) and loyal. And did I mention really pretty normal in the whole scheme of things. My pictures are within the last 3 years and fortunately the braces are gone!!!! Let's ski or bike or meet for coffee.
