Looking back, I would say that as a single professional woman, I have devoted too many hours towards career, and not enough time in looking for Mr. Right. I am entering a period in life in which I would like to change my priorities. I am in search of an easy-going, even-tempered, fun-loving guy to share enjoyable activities with. Perhaps, someone looking for a partner to rock in that chair beside them out on the porch, in the final chapters of our life.I enjoy music and love going to listen to local bands play. I can find enjoyment in most any activity. I believe anything is fun if you are with the right person. Optimism and humor are definitely important core qualilties that I seek. #1 A nice first date could be as simple as going to the local ice cream shop and having an ice cream together as we talk. #2 Walking around the mall and going into the music store to discuss music we both like ended by a soft drink in the food court.##In my mind, it should be something light, something not too long in length, something casual and certainly not expensive. It's just an opportunity to meet, to see if there are any sparks whatsoever between two people. If not, it's not the end of the world. And I do enjoy a glass of wine, margarita, or cider beer on the weekends. I am easy going and mostly like to dress casual. My favorite thing to do on weekends is find a place where you can throw peanuts on the floor or a Tiki bar, and listen to live music. A movie out or a DVD at home is also enjoyable. I hate to cook so if the way to a man's heart is really through his stomach, then I guess I am SOL!! But I will help you chop the veggies and clean up, and show you where I keep the grill. I have been gone from this site for awhile but I thought I would try it again. To be honest, dating sites make me nervous and I am more comfortable texting vs talking on the phone before we meet. I know some like to talk on the phone first but I feel uncomfortable talking to someone I haven't met yet. Besides, my cell phone gets bad reception in my house. I hope this does not deter anyone.     Hello there. I guess you would like to know a few things about me. Basically, I am an honest person who enjoys being active and healthy. I like to engage in, as well as watch, sports.
