EVEN WHEN CAMPING!!), outdoorsy, yada yada yada. i don't like negative people, drunks, druggies, obviously. i love people who like-to smile, laugh, talk, take walks, dogs, horses, red wine, wonderful food, live music(not every night in a bar though), wine festivals, music festivals(i love the blues), the beach, lakes, rivers, streams, boats(small, big, no preference)camping, not camping(HA!), good movies, great books. i never watch television, so if you do, you will be doing it alone. i like to spend my free time outside with my dogs, i do a little trail riding with some friends who have horses, lying around by the water, on the water, making dinner for friends, going to antique stores, sightseeing, stopping in at local wineries, having my friends over to shoot pool. i LOVE to get dressed up and have a nice slow wonderful meal, or not***jeans, t-shirt, mexican dive with great margaritas! need to know more? ask.I HAD TO COME BACK AND ADD A FEW THINGS! i'm sorry if anyone finds this offensive, but i am in no way interested in dating someone who is overweight. no smokers. period. also none of you guys who have a bunch of negative comments in your profile, "looking for my next ex-wife" kind of stuff. if you have a lot of pictures of you with other women, even if you have tried to cut them out, that too is a BIG turn off since i am not looking for a player. oh, and those icky pictures of yourself naked...no. i always prefer an early dinner for a first date. have a drink somewhere, chat, decide what type of food we agree on. go somewhere either fun or delicious for dinner (or both if we agree to get dressed up!) enjoy a relaxed dinner, more chatting. then on to dessert! yes i have a ferocious sweet tooth. if dinner goes well, maybe holding hands and having a stroll afterward. see, i'm pretty simple. save the more complicated dates for someone more demanding, or for further down the road. i prefer to get to know someone, quietly, first.

I like to say that I try to live life to the fullest & best suited with an adventurous man aged ***as I am 57. After enjoying adventure in Thailand last year, I was ready to concentrate again on visiting world class cities via home exchange in Europe or elsewhere. So for future adventures, I have not yet been to NW Europe, St. Tenerife off of Spain with an incredible parrot refuge is an island I will go to again. My current favourite activities include what's below but the more I do them myself or rely on girlfriends to go with the more I think of eliminating some. I also am working on making my life easier and more fun so only doing the above very part time ***months per year is my goal. Exchanging lives worldwide has been very rewarding over the years. But I am open to alternate guided and/or adventure travel suggestions from a new fun travel partner. I have gotten a lot of travel desires out of my system since ***so I am very relaxed about the need to travel.When it is time to chill out, I would rather listen to music in front of a fire or view rather than watch TV unless there is an excellent foreign streaming video. I can also enjoy reading a good book or my kindle in front of a fire or view. And I do have a nice chessboard that has not been used in a long time.I value most loyalty, honesty, integrity, family and friendships. My father played the harmonica, violin, and the mandolin at home when I was growing up so I gained an appreciation for many kinds of live music with lots of arrangements. I particularly love Improv jazz and blues, classical, rock and roll, Latin, & Zydeco. My parents also had me dancing at the Queen E theater so dancing brings out the kid in me. I love it too. I love being in nature but I must be near the city for all it offers as well. ALERT I tried to change the age that shows on the profile last fall and assumed I succeeded but did not check. While I am grateful for looking very young for my age, the age should read 57.
