I whole heartedly believe that life is what you make it. It’s all about choices. My choices - a positive attitude and approach life with optimism. I try to look for the best in people and situations; at the same time, I’m pretty realistic. Laughter is an essential ingredient in my life. There is an Irish blessing that says, “Blessed are they that can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.” Let me just say, I frequently entertain myself. I hope you find that you can laugh at yourself, as well. And, if you want to be my new best friend, you’ll laugh at my jokes. Sometimes it’s a dry/sarcastic wit, sometimes kinda dark, and often a play on words. On the flip side, I need time to be reflective and introspective.My work – I enjoy it. It’s a challenge, generally fulfilling, sometimes frustrating. I am not consumed by work. I have some goals that I may share in the future.My play – I like to travel, see the sights, the people, and all the experiences that come with it. Antiquing is one of my favorite things to do. I’m fascinated by the history and the stories. I like to read, and I dabble with writing. I am usually open to adventure – within reason. Smiles. He’s someone I am proud of and proud for. He’s open-minded and constructive. He’s intelligent, but not a know-it-all. He is comfortable with silence. I have my flaws but with age have learned to become comfortable in my own skin. I am happy most of the time and I love Jesus. I don't go to church often but I do believe in heaven and someday that's where I plan to go. I expect you to have a current picture so if we decide to meet I recognize you. I care less what you looked like 20 years ago, it's the present that matters. Life is short .... I'm not here to play games and I don't expect you to play games either.
