I whole heartedly believe that life is what you make it. It’s all about choices. My choices - a positive attitude and approach life with optimism. I try to look for the best in people and situations; at the same time, I’m pretty realistic. Laughter is an essential ingredient in my life. There is an Irish blessing that says, “Blessed are they that can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.” Let me just say, I frequently entertain myself. I hope you find that you can laugh at yourself, as well. And, if you want to be my new best friend, you’ll laugh at my jokes. Sometimes it’s a dry/sarcastic wit, sometimes kinda dark, and often a play on words. On the flip side, I need time to be reflective and introspective.My work – I enjoy it. It’s a challenge, generally fulfilling, sometimes frustrating. I am not consumed by work. I have some goals that I may share in the future.My play – I like to travel, see the sights, the people, and all the experiences that come with it. Antiquing is one of my favorite things to do. I’m fascinated by the history and the stories. I like to read, and I dabble with writing. I am usually open to adventure – within reason. Smiles. I am developing a passion for making jewelry…supplemental income and it’s therapeutic!I could continue to regale you with my perception of me, but if you’re like me, I want to see for myself. He has a sense of humor, but a serious side, too. He is thoughtful and kind…not just to me, but to people in general. He is self-aware, grounded, and self-confident. He loves being with me, but is also comfortable alone and letting me have my own time, too. He is comfortable with my friends & family, and I am same with his. He takes responsibility for his own happiness and life choices. He brings out the best in me by encouraging me, acknowledging my successes, and even lovingly bring me to greater awareness when need be. He communicates his needs and feelings, questions, and dreams –is comfortable with emotional intimacy. He likes holding my hand and kissing. Really likes kissing! He’s an attentive giving lover. Sometimes he’s the ultimate patient and gentle lover, sometimes times he’s eager, hungry and demanding, and other times playful and mischievous. He sees me as a partner and confidante. He’s someone I am proud of and proud for. He’s open-minded and constructive. He’s intelligent, but not a know-it-all. He is comfortable with silence.
