About Me

. Looking for the 4 C's for a successful relationship: 1. Communication. 2. Compassion. 3. Commitment. 4. Compatability ***I am not optimistic or pessimistic ***I am "realistic". I live in reality and deal with it. I am more of a people person than a materialistic person. I do a lot of volunteer work and stay active in the community. I am a very giving person of my time and money. I teach in the lowest socio economic HS in FW of which 98% of the students are considered at risk. I deal with a lot day in and day out. Can't be judgmental.........I have learned that these children need ***things: love, care, understanding, and acceptance. And if you can deliver that, they will do whatever you want them to do to be successful. They let you down on occasion, but you work together to get them back on track......(which is what a relationship with a compatible person is all about ***have you got what it takes??)I love football - going to games or watching on TV, especially college. Football season is over, let the depression set in!!! I also enjoy going to Rangers baseball games, but not so much watching on TV. I am a country girl, but know how to act in the city. I come from old fashion, southern values and I won't change or waiver from them. I grew up traveling and going to rodeos so seen a lot of the U.S. I have been to Europe and Australia. Want to travel more............Outgoing, stubborn, responsible, respectful, healthy, in shape, loyal, honest, independent, leader, high energy, deep thinker, out of the box!!KIDS SAY THE DARNEST THINGS IN CLASS: (on the 2nd day - (he is impressed by the muscled up legs) Ms, I am going to play baseball and soccer so when I gradute I will have legs like your's. (and he pulls up his pants leg, and the whole class laughs) Ms, You sure are cute! Can I call you Ms C *** "COX"? Ms, in 3 years when I am old enough I am going to ask you out. For now, I can hook you up with my cousin. (our first date is planned for June 10, ***after he has graduated and over ***I just can't quit laughing at this one) Ms. I would think you are younger than 41, but you have as much grey hair as my aunt that age. (I had to explain I was actually older than ***YEP, SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION! YEP, I AM TEACHING ENGINEERING AGAIN SO CLASSES FULL OF BOYS. Pray for me NOW!!! Something totally out of the ordinary.............so when you tell your friends you'll start your sentence with "You're not gonna believe this........" and believe me, you might not believe it was a first date either!! You'll walk away shaking your head saying "was that really our first date"?
