Looking for: man. In age: 44-54
I have really been enjoying life the past few years! I have gone snow tubing, skydiving, skiing, and ziplining. I’ One of my favorite things is sitting around a campfire with a group of friends.I work hard and I am proud of my accomplishments, but work definitely does not define who I am. I work so that I can play. I enjoy being independent, but would like to have someone in my life to share new adventures with.I would describe myself as affectionate, open-minded, and optimistic. I wish I could say that I am quick-witted, but I usually think of the perfect funny thing to say hours later. I would not describe myself as athletic, but I am in good shape. They should have a body type category called "toned, but clutzy" -- that would be me. I enjoy festivals, outdoor concerts, hiking, camping, and spending time with friends. I enjoy college football, but have to confess that I don’t always keep up with how my team is doing. Last summer I took up cycling and I recently started running. Well, jogging really. Or maybe it's just really fast walking. I took skiing lessons a couple years ago and, although I have not mastered it, I really enjoyed it! Wait, did I say I took up cycling? I should have said I bought a bike.I'd like to develop a friendship first, rather than diving head first into a relationship. If something more develops from the friendship, great! If not, we've both made a new friend.A few random items: I am highly allergic to cats. I don't understand hunting; I have nothing against it, I just don't understand wanting to kill an animal for sport. If you are looking for someone who is very religious or conservative, I am not the girl for you. I like being outdoors, especially if I have an ample supply of SPF ***have you seen my pictures?). I don't watch TV, other than a few shows I catch online. However, I still have the ability to be a couch potato on occasion. You don't need a TV for that, just a couch.A few things I've learned from internet dating:1) Many people do not know how to spell.2) Way too many people take pictures of themselves driving. Shouldn't you be watching the road??3) Lists are funny.4) People who don't have pictures in their profile are hiding something.5) Group pictures are not helpful if I can’t tell which one is you. And besides, it’s awkward asking you who your hot friend is and can I get his number. 6) Internet dating takes away some of the mystery and adds a different kind of mystery. I haven't decided yet if this is a good thing or a bad thing.7) Not many men have pictures of themselves smiling. What's up with that?8) The definitions of "athletic" and "average" seem to be debatable. Looking like an NFL linebacker does not make you athletic9) I am no good at thinking of clever things to say in *** never really know if there is true chemistry until you meet in person.***You will always have at least one friend who thinks you are crazy for doing the internet dating thing.***You probably ARE crazy for doing the internet dating thing.***It's a great feeling when you find out that someone you are attracted to is attracted to you.***It's a terrible feeling when you discover they are a total wacko. Something simple... meet for coffee or a drink.

(The sound of nature is all around, quite yet outspokenly loud in its presence. A light breeze slides over my skin and the smell of the grasses and wildflowers is carried upon it teasing the senses. The pleasing sound of leathers creaking slightly as my horse adjusts under me. I can see the sun headed for a sunset and that's the best part in the end of a great day.)This is my usual Sundays, On one of my horses enjoying life outside of the city, quiet and peaceful. Only thing missing is maybe someone to share that sunset with on their own horse.I love to learn new things, explore and seek out adventure. I also enjoy creature comforts like a warm fire during a snow storm, good food, a comfy chair to curl up in. I’m sure you get the drift, but I enjoy a variety of things.I’m a visionary, entrepreneur and adventure. I’m most comfortable in the country with my horses and animals. I love to backpack and be in the wild but most of all, my favorite place is on the back of one of my horses. My dream is to move out onto some land with my horses, build my house. I like raising my own food, living off the land, backpacking, natural homes, the hope of living off the grid and I enjoy survivalist stuff etc. I'm also in the holistic field and very spiritual, but not religious.I'm no dull mary, I have a wild side and like to experience life. If your looking for a goodie two shoes girl next door that's not me. But if your looking for someone who enjoys all the sensations life has to offer I'm your girl. I'd rather stay single and enjoy life than be committed to someone who's forgotten the bed is for something other than sleeping or what it feels like to do something breathtaking. Not to get into politics here but if you support Obama don't bother messaging me, I don't support his style of government. I'm a Libertarian, I believe in the right to own guns, I'm sure you get the picture. I also believe in land conservation, preserving wildlife, saving the wild mustangs. Just saves a hell of a lotta time this way, I'm looking to connect with someone of like mind and I've come to understand that I need a partner who rides horses too or has a love of them and desire to start riding. It's not set in stone but if we don't at least have some things in common don't bother messaging me, it's a waste of time. I like men who look like men..not the whole.."metrosexual" crap. And hey if your not interested in meeting in real life, I say real life because most that I've come across here look at this as a cyber fantasy land, then move along little doggie. NEW - FEW other things - Don't message me if; You don't have a job, live in a hotel, are looking to come right over and roll in the hay, are married or separated Ya have had all of those and guess what, I'm not interested. Maybe coffee or tea someplace public. Lets keep in short and see how things go. Perfect day would be getting some coffee or breakfast, heading out for a ride and then as the evening drops dinner and a beer. But been though too many "OMG I want to punch this guy in the head, dates" So lets stick with a coffee or beer. I like to take things slow, see how things flow.
