Since I am in the technical field, I like discussing technology and networking. Politics, world events, religion, movies(especially independent films. Anything but horror or Sci Fi), etc. Books I have enjoyed reading recently: The Age of Turbulence, Soldier -- The Al Quaeda & I'm currently reading "Lenin, Stalin, & Hitler - The Age of Social Catastrophe" but it's really tough to get through. Still chewing on "Too Big to Fail". Reading tech stuff as related to my job.When its nice weather, I want to be outside perhaps taking a bike ride (on flat terrain!!!). Since I moved last year, I've found that I really enjoy being outside and doing the landscaping around my house.I love rock music - listening to it - as well as trying to play it on my guitar. I have been playing guitar about 5 years. I consider myself a Beginner/Intermediate player. I play simple stuff. I would like to jam with others although I have only done it once before.Best concert: Disturbed - Hands Down!!!! I'm a loyal friend and partner. Integrity is what I value most in a person. I am very health conscious and I am looking for the same. Someone with whom I can laugh and have stimulating conversation and of course the most important thing is I want to find that special someone that I fall in love with. A little about me: I have three grown children, four if you count my Son-in-Law (and I do) and three grandchildren who are the light of my life. Just the thought of them makes me smile. My friends describe me as "young at heart" I do like to have fun and certainly don't feel my age! I can be a little goofy at times and laugh easily, especially at myself. I enjoy live music whether it's country, rock or jazz, a big arena concert or hole in the wall dive bar. When the music starts to play I have a hard time sitting still and love to dance. I believe the person you are with is more important than what you're doing or where you are. I'm looking for someone who is confident without being arrogant, honest, loyal, doesn't take themselves too seriously, and, for some unknown reason, I seem to be a sucker for a sarcastic sense of humor. I have a very full life, wonderful family and friends and a job I enjoy so I'm a pretty happy camper but that doesn't mean there isn't room for that special someone to share it all with.I am looking for somthing that I hope will grow into long term but I don't expect it to happen overnight.
