Hello there. So here I am on this dating site completely niave to the dating scene and how things work these days. I was with my ex-husband for 19 years so I have very little experience dating as an adult. We have been seperated for over two years and divorced since March, ***. I also like to spend time with my friends and go to concerts. I have a great group of friends, many of which I consider family. I absolutley love the beach. I’m a divorced mother of 2 boys (ages 18 and ***& was with my ex for 15 years. We're still good friends, no drama there. I’ve been dating for several years & am often asked why I am still single. And if I have learned anything from this crazy world of dating it is that I can’t settle for less than what I feel is perfect for me. That just doesn’t work in the end, no matter how nice the guy. But most of what I am looking for is a “feeling”, an unexplained connection, so I’m open minded enough to realize you can find love when and where you least expect it, with whom you least expect it with. Of course attraction is important. How well your profile is written is important. What you say to me when you first contact me is important (just “hi” will NOT result in a response). But I understand it is hard to look at a picture or read a few paragraphs and know if you will have chemistry with someone.As far as what YOU are looking for, I may or may not meet all of your “criteria” (most of the guys on here have a LONG unrealistic sounding list) but I just may surprise you by what a great catch I am…and you will have to take a chance and get to know me to find out!
