I would describe myself as a fun and easy going person. I am a little quiet at first... but my friends would not describe me like that at all! I like to see things in a positive way rather than negative...it's not part of my personality.I listen to all kinds of music. My favorite is R and B, Sole, Rock, Pop, 80's, 90's. If you are beside me in the car then I am most likely singing to one song or another. I love going for walks, exploring new places and going for nice drives on the weekends discovering new places. I enjoy dinner out, but also like staying in and cooking as well. However breakfast out is one of my weakness'..what can I say ;-) I like visiting museums, live theatre, going to the movies or just hanging out at a book store discovering new books. I enjoy my career but do not live to work but rather work to live, but I am happy doing what I do during the day. Exploring new places or revisiting old ones. I like to visit and experieince all the non tourist areas. I want to keep on traveling to new places and seeing all there is to see in the world. Family and friends are really important to me. My closest friends are like family to me. I try to spend time with them as much as possible.Of course there is the most important person to me my son and I am proud and lucky to be called Mommy.It is hard to narrow down what kind of person I am looking for.....we all go through different experiences that shape us. I consider myself kind and smart so I'd like to meet someone with similar traits. I am looking for a connection of not just love but common interests, direction and communication. I cannot recall where this came from, but it has stuck with me for a long time!Just a bit about myself, I am pretty easy going. I have a great life and I have a terrific son, family and friends! I am self employed and operate a business as well as have a small part-time business on the side. I absolutely love my jobs. I love working and I enjoy people. I want to laugh. I want to make you laugh. I like to dance, go to movies...but not horror movies...they creep me out too much. I enjoy watching them at home too. sometimes snuggling on the couch with a great glass of wine is amazing!Music is a pleasure to me. don't much care for rap, but everything else iis fantastic :) We have this cool little live music venue in my town that I love to go to. It's small enough that you can meet the artists and it is truly fascinating to talk to these folks and learn about their music. Food and cooking are important to me. I love to create new dishes and really like to have people sample them. One of my businesses is a Bar/Restaurant so I am always trying new stuff in the kitchen. Don't you want to be my guinea pig..LOL?In this industry, you would think that I would meet plenty of ":fish" in that giant Lake I look at everyday. It is hard to meet someone at work, plain and simple. I hear from men that they find me intimidating, but I just don't see that in myself. from my perspective, I am kind, generous to a fault, attentive, bright and amusing...and slightly amused most of the time:)Yes, I am looking for a relationship and someone to grow old with, etc., etc...but I would really like to date first. I am not one to jump in with both feet. I want to find someone who is a good friend. And it may seem old fashioned but let's take it a little slowly.At the same time, I would like to find that guy who can support me emotionally and mentally and will treat me with respect and learn to cherish me; we all derserve that....not just women, but MEN TOO! Someone who can challenge me and has similar values. We cannot know these things unless we go out on a date.... we cannot go on a date if we don't message one another.
