I am a person that likes to laugh and have fun I know no strangers and I have many friends. I have recently had a significant life changed that has lead me to seek the good in life with people that enjoy life. I am a person that has always had high standards when it come to values and respect. I am only looking for friendships at this time because I really do not know what I want in a new relationship at this point in my life. I love fine wine, to be with friends and socialize. I have two children over the age of 18 and I love spending time with them,with my youngest daughter starting college in the fall, my time with them is valuable. I like to hike trails (the easy ones), ride my bike and do most anything outdoors. I do work out from time to time and have learned many kickboxing moves and done a lot of weight lifting over the past year. I will never be a size 5 but health has become more important to me as I age. I am a domestic person I love to decorate, cook, bake and make a house a home. Looking forward to meeting someone I can get to know slowly and build a friendship with. I am a compassionate and caring person just hoping to find someone with the same heart.Fall is my favorite time of year, not only because it is football season but because the NW is such a beautiful place to be this time of year. An evening by the fireplace with a cup of tea is amazing. Cuddling with a warm blanket on the couch in front of a game, is definitely a must during this season. Soups and crock pot cooking, could it get any better?? Above all anywhere you go during this time of year you are reminded of just how beautiful the NW is with its amazing scenes of red, yellow and orange trees. I am trying to acclimate myself to the world of getting to know new people in a way I had no ideas was common to explore, THE ONLINE world. I am very cautious to begin communications with people one because this is all new to me and two because I am not ready to just jump into a relationship with out taking the time to get to know someone. My ideal first date would be a very casual encounter, possibly a walk in the park, a hike through the woods or a walk on the shore. We would later go for a cup of coffee or possibly dinner. I would also enjoy a walk through a small town or new surroundings, stopping to explore along the way. I enjoy talking to people and getting to know them personally.I find a friend in everyone and I am not someone you have to impress. I just enjoy getting to know people and what they are about.

    Hello other POF's! First, I don't like writing these. They sound so contrived, demanding, and tend to lump us into little bundles of "stuff" - stuff we do, stuff we like, stuff we want. It turns out we are a little more more complicated than that. So here is "stuff" about me.
