To sum it up, I'm into love - the universal, the cosmic, the bold, the tender, the delicious, the selfless, the courageous, the quiet.I live life with a fun-loving, kind heart. I always try to see the humour and the bigger picture. I'm captivated by truth, reality and wisdom, both shining and raw.I'm open-minded, insightful, creative, and apparently funny : ) I'm spiritual, sensual and adventurous. I have diverse interests that come from an overall love of life. - I love humanity. I believe we're here for each other and I try to live with that in mind. - I love nature, her majesty, beauty and teachings are always with me. I try to be conscious of nature in as many of my actions as possible. - I love sumptuous food. I'm definitely a vegetarian foodie. I love cooking/baking and going out to eat alike. I'm as comfortable in a local down-to-earth dive as I am in a trendy fine dining hot spot. I love experimenting with food, trying challenging new recipes or falling back on old favourites. This spring I planted my first vegetable/herb garden and can't believe I've never done it before. What a joy to go and pick fresh veggies and then use them right away in a recipe. Best bruschetta ever! I also really enjoyed sharing the garden abundance with friends and family. - I love art and design. I see the art in life, both intentional and unintentional. I love to capture life in art and enjoy how others have captured it. - I love the fullness of ordinary moments. Sometimes the smallest moments in our lives turn out to be the largest. Sometimes the hardest moments turn out to be the best for us. I know that every moment is magical and I'm working on becoming conscious of each of them so I can appreciate and learn from every one. - I love new experiences, new adventures and travel. This world is so beautiful and intense and funny and textured and sacred. I enjoy it deeply and with full interest. - I love the word "resplendent." Everything shines with splendour - we just need to look at it with openness to that.- I love quiet time to chill and re-connect with myself. I want to be there 100% for others so I also have to be there 100% for myself.I'm into yoga, not just the exercises but the whole path. I find that meditation and yoga help me stay real, stay connected and become more loving in my relationships. Basically I want to offer something positive to the world, both in the details of everyday life and in my larger goals. I work in outdoor, experiential education. This year I'm working with a colleague/friend to launch an awareness education program. I'm also working on illustrating several children's books that I've written. In spare time, I make art of various kinds, volunteer and study Indian classical dance.As far as consuming art (as opposed to making it), I also have pretty wide tastes. I love movies and a few tv shows as well (though I don't own a tv).I have a rich life and a wonderful community and I'm interested in finding a partner to share all of it with. I'm interested in being with someone to have fun with, adventure with, offer love to the world and each other with, grow with and be challenged, inspired and delighted by all the while. I would love to meet a charismatic guy who can make me laugh, is kind in spirit, responsible, positive, intelligent, aware, open-minded, adventurous, and interested in well-being and fun. A great first date is as great as the person its with. I don't have one predetermined idea of what works. Meeting at a farmer's market, discovering the variety of vendors, and picking up some yummy treats to share while chilling in a nearby park.Hiking around High Park and taking in the seasonal beauty that it offers up.The best first dates are the ones that take me by surprise.
