About Me

Apparently I was enlisted in the "catch & release" section of this website the first time around, so, here we go again :)I'd like to meet someone to spend time with, with the common goal of it being a long term thing. I am NOT here for a random hookup. I do NOT need a computer for that. So, if that's why you're here, please don't waste my time, or yours. It's rough out there, no need to add to the nonsense of dating in your thirties.** Must love animals ( so yes, you guys with pics of you & your dog/cat, you get extra points)** I have tattoos, so if that's an issue, sorry! If YOU have tattoos, that's a bonus!UPDATE:I like kids. If you have kids, that's GREAT (It eventually gives me an excuse to do things like coloring eggs, apple/pumpkin picking & going to the petting zoo). However, if you have your kids every weekend, and you work all week, where exactly do you think you're fitting me (or any other fishy) into your schedule? Please have time for the attempt of getting to know someone. If you are separated, that CAN be ok, provided you are still not sleeping on the couch. Things need to have progressed on to separate homes, lawyers, etc. To my CT Fishies: You get included in my search (and vice versa) because no one takes into consideration that there is a large body of water between us. Sorry, but, that body of water IS in the way! Cocktails. Takes the nervous edge off (im NOT an alcoholic sillyheads!) Somewhere not too loud; need to be able to have a conversation. Laughter is a must. If all goes well, then perhaps some dinner, or more drinks, or both. Some dancing thrown in would be just lovely. I'm pretty laid back and just go with the flow after that, but this is kind of a must for the FIRST date. Second dates are good for things like bowling (I have my own ball & shoes because I kinda rock!), mini golf, a picnic, etc. Please take note: coming to your house to 'watch a movie' is NOT a date (& is not happening the first time(s) we meet)

So here are my general thoughts on online dating. I see this as quite simply a way of meeting people that you might get along with (and possibly date) who you wouldn't have met otherwise. I'm not a big fan of the whole, let's do all the small talk online or over the phone - isn't that what first dates are supposed to be for? Plus then, at least if there is no connection you haven't already used up all the easy topics! I say, if we think we might have a connection, let's just meet, have a drink, and maybe see where things go. As Popeye would say, "I y'am what I y'am." I'm passionate about what I care about, empathetic, I try not to take myself or the world too seriously and I can easily laugh and myself and the ridiculous that is life sometimes, and I'm looking for someone who can as well. Overall, I'm looking for a guy who is witty, fun, and who could never be described as generic. I love intelligence without pretentiousnes and kindness with a sense of humor. Though it doesn't need to happen tomorrow, ultimately I am looking for a relationship and I'm looking for someone who wants the same. On a lighter note... "This guy goes to a psychiatrist and says, "Doc, my brother's crazy; he thinks he's a chicken." And the doctor says, "Well, why don't you turn him in?" The guy says, "I would, but I need the eggs." Well, I guess that's pretty much now how I feel about relationships; y'know, they're totally irrational, and crazy, and absurd, but, uh, I guess we keep goin' through it because most of us... need the eggs."-flicks in general...;.... Food: Sushi, Steak, Wine, Cheese, Bacon Other Stuff: Sociology, Fresh Flowers, Organization Stores (it's weird, I know), Flea Markets, Photography, Animals, Brunch Generally I like to meet somewhere for drinks and apps, if we like each other, we can continue to dinner, if not, we go our separate ways!

I enjoy long walks and quite nights at home. I sometimes enjoy spending time at local bars with my close friends. I am pretty open minded and have a great sense of humour. Looks are not important, I like a man who makes me laugh. He must Love children and Animals forgot to mention how much of an animal lover I am. I would love to travel the world and see different places and experience different cultures. I tend to be very reserved and quiet once I meet a person. Once I get to know a person I can be quite the talker. I will only speak to u if there is a picture so a picture is a must. I am up to talking. If you are up to talking back dont be afraid to drop a line or two. Anywhere that is comfortable and romantic. I am a very romantic person. A nice resturant is always a good place or maybe a picnic on the beach. I love a man who can be sweet and spontenous

i'm easy going, love all different types of video games/platforms. movies and music help me survive this chaotic world. looking for somebody to connect with, that understands that we all need friendship and closeness. someone that understands that we just need to be able to be ourselves, and should not have to be pressured to be someone we're not. any questions? ask away, i'm an open book! simple, casual, coffee, food, park, movies are not good since you have to be quiet and that defeats the purpose of getting to know someone
