My year so far has been very busy. I bought my first home,a short sale, and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. I got a great deal, but it was definitely not a short or easy process. We are in the heart of the city, but you would never know it from inside. My place is an oasis amongst the chaos. My neighborhood is a melting pot of cultures, and I think it's great. I have endless options for places to eat and grab a drink.I feel a great responsibility to improve my neighborhood, and I volunteer when I can. My home is surrounded by great city parks, and not many people make use of them properly. I live in the most unfriendly city I the world, but that has not been my experience. Trashy I know, but I love it. No thinking required. My usual tv watching tastes tends towards cartoons, the learning and discovery channels, and the occasional lifetime movie featuring the amazing acting stylings of Tori Spelling. I'm a big kid at heart, with the mind of a nerd. I love learning new things.My life is pretty low key. I got most of my crazy out I my 20s, and no longer enjoy going to crowded clubs or bars.
