I'm a sweet, caring, spunky and positive woman who's just trying to find her One. :) I'm not a serial dater. I'm really looking more long term, in the hopes of finding someone that wishes to have a family or if you already have kids, that's awesome, too. I would really like the opportunity to adopt children, even.I have a dry, slightly sarcastic sense of humor.I'm pretty good at making people feel loved and respected. I very rarely dislike anyone so I truly desire to embrace everyone around me. :) I really enjoy taking care of not only the house, and everything that would entail but also just my man...whenever I finally find him! I am very familiar about particular subjects -- subjects that have no interest in most people. Oh, and the best bear hugs. :D I'm a bit of a cuddle bug -- but I also know when to give space when needed as well.I'm currently reading the Song of Ice and Fire! series; Clash of Kings, specifically, so don't give anything away. Shhh! I love to read more than any other extra-curricular activity. I actually have three books on the go right now. Most books I tend to read are fiction (I prefer science-fiction firstly) but occasionally I'll find something of interest to me in the non-fiction section.) every once and awhile but I'm still learning to enjoy wine or other alcoholic drinks! lol It must be an acquired taste. Give me my cup o' tea, *** have a full- I work hard at my job, but I just LOVE what I do! I feel very blessed to be able to work for a wonderful company. I truly do wake up excited on Monday morning.Furthermore I love animals and would welcome your pets in our lives.Btw, if I didn't say "hi" after viewing your profile, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm not interested. I could just be feeling a bit shy. :) I do blush when I'm feeling shy. lol*You MUST be employed for me to consider you...sorry! I know how hard this economy is but still...* :( Lastly, I DO NOT speak French. English only* I would like the first day to be very casual and low key so there's less pressure. I'm looking for a cup of tea or perhaps a meal where we can just get to know each other. Anything we do, I would like to go dutch on so neither of us feels obligated towards the other.Perhaps afterwards it would be nice to take a stroll, and hold hands, see how that feels and assess whether the chemistry feels right for a second date.

Thanks for taking a look at my profile. Like most people, it's hard to define myself to others, but I will try.I work and this is important to me. I would like to date someone who also works or is seeking active employment.I like to cook, and I like to cook for groups of people, but I also work and parent so sometimes my time is too short to cook the way I want to.I am a parent. I have unlimited love for my kid. We do many family activities together. I do not want to bring her on a date, so please don't ask me to bring her along. She is her own person with her own personality and trying to curry her favour will not get you points, you need to impress me before she will be impressed. I also do not have an abundance of babysitters, going out on short notice is not easy for me so patience, understanding and notice are required. Much of my life and time is wrapped up in either work or being mom, but I do have interests outside of that. I enjoy watching scary movies, lots of reality TV (especially cooking shows), and I love to read (sci-fi and fantasy most of all). I love in depth conversations and occasionally doing something really off-the-wall stupidfun.I'd really like to find a companion, someone to talk to and to bounce ideas off of more than anything. Someone who isn't judgmental, who can realize that I have rough times too and doesn't mind simply listening without giving advice or outright ***'m comfortable with who I am for the most part.
