About Me

I'm a sweet, caring, spunky and positive woman who's just trying to find her One. :) I'm not a serial dater. I'm really looking more long term, in the hopes of finding someone that wishes to have a family or if you already have kids, that's awesome, too. I would really like the opportunity to adopt children, even.I have a dry, slightly sarcastic sense of humor.I'm pretty good at making people feel loved and respected. I very rarely dislike anyone so I truly desire to embrace everyone around me. :) I really enjoy taking care of not only the house, and everything that would entail but also just my man...whenever I finally find him! I'm a family woman...a woman that loves to be around family and I so hope I get a chance to have my own family.I'm hoping my guy is still out there! I want to go slow at first and form a friendship that could possibly lead to more. I'm looking for someone who's a bit...different...maybe not quite nerdy but can seem...unique.I really like smart men but men who are not arrogant about their brains. :) I'm a bit nerdy myself but not your regular kinda nerdy.... I am very familiar about particular subjects -- subjects that have no interest in most people. Meeh..I still like the quirkiness of me and I only hope to find someone else that likes that about me, too. :)Most people have said I have a sweet smile and beautiful dark blue eyes -- or so I've been told. Oh, and the best bear hugs. :D I'm a bit of a cuddle bug -- but I also know when to give space when needed as well.I'm currently reading the Song of Ice and Fire! series; Clash of Kings, specifically, so don't give anything away. Shhh! I love to read more than any other extra-curricular activity. I actually have three books on the go right now. Most books I tend to read are fiction (I prefer science-fiction firstly) but occasionally I'll find something of interest to me in the non-fiction section.) every once and awhile but I'm still learning to enjoy wine or other alcoholic drinks! lol It must be an acquired taste. Give me my cup o' tea, *** have a full- I work hard at my job, but I just LOVE what I do! I feel very blessed to be able to work for a wonderful company. I truly do wake up excited on Monday morning.Furthermore I love animals and would welcome your pets in our lives.Btw, if I didn't say "hi" after viewing your profile, it doesn't necessarily mean I'm not interested. I could just be feeling a bit shy. :) I do blush when I'm feeling shy. lol*You MUST be employed for me to consider you...sorry! I know how hard this economy is but still...* :( Lastly, I DO NOT speak French. English only* I would like the first day to be very casual and low key so there's less pressure. I'm looking for a cup of tea or perhaps a meal where we can just get to know each other. Anything we do, I would like to go dutch on so neither of us feels obligated towards the other.Perhaps afterwards it would be nice to take a stroll, and hold hands, see how that feels and assess whether the chemistry feels right for a second date.

    I'm not the type of person that has my life planned out... Don't get me wrong, I have goals and aspirations and wish to reach them. But I also believe many things are out of our hands, and everything happens for a reason. I don't NEED to get married or have children, if someone were to come into my life and those options were there I wouldnt be against it either.
