Back here again after my last date if you call it that didn't pan out. I'm not looking for the perfect guy just one that I can have a connection with. I am independent and financially secure so if you are the type of person that needs to rescue someone... I may not be it. I would like a full time person. Meaning... I like to do a lot of things from watching a movie at home cuddled up on the sofa to going on a zip line. I will try anything... well almost. Why limit yourself. I don't like to run ***but I like to go out too. I like to have a happy middle ground. I like to plan stuff because certain things have to be planned but also like to fly by the seat of my pants. I am ***percent dedicated to anything I do. I am a person you can count on ***percent. I will have your back at every turn as I hope you would have mine. I am not perfect and I do have a few flaws but I have identified them and I'm working on them. If someone says they don't they are only kidding themselves. Everyone does. At this point in life I'm just looking for an honest, faithful, caring, thoughtful man can that can be my best friend and partner. I don't need someone I would like someone to experience what life and time as to offer. Let's leave options open and be creative. Surprise me.

I'm a huge Bears fan, I prefer a pub to a club, my political views lean more towards the liberal crowd. I like lots of different music, except for rap and really really heavy headbanging metal. I believe everyone should go to a Jimmy Buffett concert at least once, if not more. It's as much fun as a person can have without breaking any laws. Fins up!!! Yes I was raised Catholic but I don't attend church anymore. I lean more towards good karma rather than misguided dogma. I believe there is more than one road to the Divine. I haven't had good luck dating people who aren't fairly "local" (actually I haven't had good luck dating at all!! lol) so I tend to avoid that frustration now. when I get these "so and so" wants to meet you, I take it with a grain of salt, someone saying they like my picture. I usually don't respond unless someone actually writes to me. Just an FYI. by the way, I've been transitioning to a more plant based diet. so I won't be going for a steak or a burger on a date. He's my best friend and we walk all the time on the bike path!! He gets me off the couch just like a best friend would do. She died a couple of years ago. but thanks for your interest! Rent the DVD if you want to experience an "older woman". The Graduate is a great movie!POF made me choose a word to describe my personality. I chose hippy but I think it's supposed to be hippie, lol, like... peace signs, getting back to nature, etc. oh well. And, I'm actually 58. I hate that they required me to "post my intention, i.e. dating or relationship, etc. If you put "dating" it makes you look like a serial dater. if you put "relationship" it makes you look like you're hunting for a spouse. I'm doing neither of those. It would be nice if I meet someone nice but I don't have high hopes. I haven't even been meeting or dating in a while. I have some things that I'm trying to improve about myself. I've worked 12 hour night shifts for the past 5 years and I've put on a few pounds that I'm not happy about so I'm trying to get them off. But then again.... if someone doesn't want me at my worst, they sure as h*ll don't deserve me at my best. ; )
