It's been a good year for me, professionally--lots of exciting things have happened. In general, I feel grateful for what life has offered me: emotional and financial stability, good friends, the ability to set my own schedule and to pursue my passions.A little about me: I'm enthusiastic and opinionated, a culture junkie who enjoys new experiences. I play well with others. I like to roam around the planet for inspiration. I work for myself and do reasonably well.--I grew up here and I'll never get sick of it. I enjoy writing. My story collection came out last year, and recently I started freelancing for the WSJ.I can always use a few more cool people in my life, although the right one is what I'm really looking for. I think I'm ready for the next chapter. I'm open to all sorts of first dates, although they should involve a good deal of conversation so I can get to know a bit about my date. I love people who suggest quirky/unusual first dates, but I am also open to grabbing a coffee or a drink or a meal or even going for a nice walk. It says here a longer description will get me more responses, but I don't want to get too specific. Why box myself in? So many possibilities.For the record, second dates are a much better test for me than first dates :)
