Hello Ladies, thanks for taking the time to read my profile. I hope that I describe myself well, first off i'll start by saying that I have a great sense of humor and I like to laugh. People describe me as spreading joy and happiness when I'm around. That might sound difficult but for me it's not. I guess that's because I have a good heart and good head on my shoulders. I'm a people person and I got that personality from dealing with a lot of clients in my profession, I deal with a lot of people in the retail industry and I love what I do.. Not many people can say they love their job so I'm very lucky for that.. I like doing karaoke and I can rock the house if it's a song that I know well... Here's a tip for you, when you're dong karaoke they usually don't like when you say free drinks at the bar.. I got scolded a few times for that : ( but it wasn't my fault, I had a mic in my hands and I was rocking, the world is a stage and life is a show... If anyone takes my quote and turns it into a bumper sticker then I want my cut.. I love to cook and I'm very good at it. I was taught old school from my mother and I picked up a few tricks from my friends that went to culinary school. I also enjoy going out to restaurants as well. I love trying new restaurants and of course I have some favorites that I need to go to every now and then to get my fix. I don't like bully's and growing up if i saw someone getting picked on i would try to help out even though I'm not a big football player but seeing someone being picked on by an ***hole would bother me... As far as the Karate Kid goes 1 was plenty, haha.. The first one was good, 2 sucked, 3 wasn't that bad and 4 was just sucky!!! There's my movie reviews for the day... I'm very close with my family and I mean that literally because they live 5 min away : ) I never had any kids but I have 2 nephews that I treat like my kids so I'm good with kids. I have a job, a car, I don't live with my parents and I'm really single, these are things that I normally wouldn't brag about but on here not every guy can say that. If that sounds like you then say hi to me : ) For a first date I would suggest going out for a drink or dinner or both but if there's something else that you want to do then I'm listening.

Tall, confident Sinatra fan looking for traditional lady who is at a point in her life where loud nightclubs are starting to wane. I don't enjoy leaving a club and having my ears ring for two days. Been there, done that. This isn't to say that fun is over. There are a lot of activities where having a partner is fun like wine tasting events, hikes, dinners, trips, outdoor concerts, etc.I have coached youth football, high school football and wrestling which was great to mentor the kids and make them better in their respective sports. I stand up for the less fortunate through actions and words meaning I try to help people become self-sufficient. I chiseled 20 lbs off of the wall. Amazing time to be there. My next desire is to visit our wonderful and historical areas here in the US.Brought up as a gentleman, I prefer women who have class, tact, honesty and integrity.What I consider fun is casual dancing, working out, playing pool, hanging out with friends, volunteering, exploring and learning new things. Also, I independently study sociolinguistics which is fascinating. Estoy aprendiendo español ahora (I am learning Spanish now). Being independent is also something I value. In other words, I am not looking to be around someone ***. I like companionship and value it but need time to myself and/or with my friends.I'd like to meet someone who is affectionate, appreciative and outgoing like myself. I'd like a friend who isn't adverse to exercising. And someone who wants to participate in repairing the world with me. Someone who sees the glass half full. I tend to see the good out of most situations. I need someone well-read. This doesn't mean having a doctoral level of education. There are plenty of educated people out there without all the formal degrees. I don't enjoy hearing slang or people cussing excessively. Major turnoff. Recently read "A Game of Thrones" after hearing so many friends rave about it. I am almost finished with DeMille's first book, "The Charm School."R. When I want to mellow out, I put on Sade, Erykah Badu or even classical music.
