Woman. 45 years old. Zodiac sign: Gemini.
Looking for: man. In age: 42-52
Hi. Thanks for stopping by.I'm an active woman with an open heart who loves to meet people. Even though I love to dress up and go out, I'm really a jeans and t-shirt kinda girl. I'm adventurous, light-hearted and love to laugh, I love to travel, cook, be outdoors and explore new places. I enjoy sports both playing and watching. I live a fairly healthy lifestyle, love good food and great conversation. I am one of those people that can make anything fun, if I want to... ;-) I have come to really appreciate that life is short. It's meant to live and enjoy. I really value someone that can remind me not to take things so seriously and to be in the moment savoring all that life has to offer. Life really is amazing and it's meant to be fun.I'm looking for a successful man who knows what he wants. Are you a great communicator? Are you looking for an honest connection that can turn into something really great long term? Are you a confident, stable man, who likes to travel and play? Is family is important to you? If so, we could be a good fit. I love a guy that is creative and thinks outside of the box. That being said, I really like the idea of first meeting at a coffee shop or somewhere small and casual, where getting to know each other is easy.

Decided to give dating one more try. Does anyone really find the right one on these places? I have met some really cool people, but I have also met a lot of losers too. I am a pretty positive person and am rarely serious. I love to laugh and make other laugh. I have a good sense of humor and tend to be quite a smart ass. I have a morbid sense of humor at times...which I attribute to my job...and I can cuss like a sailor. So if you want a straight laced, no fun kinda gal, then I'm not the one for you! I can be quiet at times though too.I grew up on a farm, so I like the outdoors. I like to watch movies and tv as well. When I am not doing that, I have my nose in a book of some sort. LOVE my Kindle! I like to camp and fish, go to movies and out to eat, road trips and trying new things. My taste in music is all over, but prefer heavy metal, 80's....basically rock of any kind. I am kind of picky on my country music. I have been a single parent for a long time. I figure I can fix anything if I have a book on the subject. I do have kids, but 2 of them are adults now....which makes me sad cuz that means I'm getting older! I am a bit on the heavy side, but am trying to lose the weight. That does not mean I'm a complete health freak. I can't stand them! LOL I say, if you want some chocolate, have some! LOL My mottos in life are: Everything happens for a reason....and....Something good always comes from something bad. I have been through a lot in my life and it has made me a stronger person for it. I don't use it as a "cop out" to get things or for a reason to not be a contribution to society. I'm also not a "do as I say, not as I do" person. If I'm not willing to do something, I don't expect anyone else to either.I have a great job that I absolutely love. I work rotational shift work, so that creates a problem with my personal life. If you are an impatient person, I am probably not the woman for you as I may not have every weekend off and I work most holidays. I am dedicated to my job and have goals that I am working towards. I have given up lots of time to be there for my co workers when they needed time off. Sometimes I'm called into work on short notice on my days off, or times I have worked a double shift. I don't mind, I knew what I was signing up for and I love the job. This is just a heads up for anyone that wants to get to know me. I'm not always at work and I do have time off, don't get me wrong there. If you are interested in getting to know me, please send me a message! I might just be the one you are looking for! First date should definately be in a public place. Meeting for coffee or lunch would be good for starters....maybe even a picnic in the park! Everyone does the dinner and a movie, but you cannot talk and get to know eachother in a movie theater. You could go out for a drink, but sometimes people get nervous and drink too much in a case like that. Then you only get to know the drunk side of that person...lol. But that is an option as well.
