OK I'm gonna rant for a min... I usually try to message most everyone back.. even when it's a "thanks but we're not a good match. Best of luck to you". My daughter will be 18 soon and is doing her own thing most of the time... so I have time for the right one.I enjoy simple things in life. I listen to a variety of music and like to spend time with friends, riding motorcycles, the lake, hiking, bowling, gym, shooting pool, road trips to no-where, festivals, I love love love the beach.. However I'm just as good at home cooking, watching a movie & snuggling. I don't watch much TV and like it that way, anything really as long as the company is good... I believe in keeping your word and think that if you don't mean it then you better not say it. Actions speak louder than words and relationships need compromise on BOTH sides. I'm not perfect and don't expect you to be either. You should take care of yourself physically as I try to for my guy. I want someone that's up for a little adventure together!! No smokers... because I like to kiss but not that!** For the guys that like to bullsh**... save it for your friends or the kinda women you usually go out with... Something simple...

Decided to give dating one more try. Does anyone really find the right one on these places? I have met some really cool people, but I have also met a lot of losers too. I am a pretty positive person and am rarely serious. I love to laugh and make other laugh. I have a good sense of humor and tend to be quite a smart ass. I have a morbid sense of humor at times...which I attribute to my job...and I can cuss like a sailor. So if you want a straight laced, no fun kinda gal, then I'm not the one for you! I can be quiet at times though too.I grew up on a farm, so I like the outdoors. I like to watch movies and tv as well. When I am not doing that, I have my nose in a book of some sort. LOVE my Kindle! I like to camp and fish, go to movies and out to eat, road trips and trying new things. My taste in music is all over, but prefer heavy metal, 80's....basically rock of any kind. I am kind of picky on my country music. I have been a single parent for a long time. I figure I can fix anything if I have a book on the subject. I do have kids, but 2 of them are adults now....which makes me sad cuz that means I'm getting older! I am a bit on the heavy side, but am trying to lose the weight. That does not mean I'm a complete health freak. I can't stand them! LOL I say, if you want some chocolate, have some! LOL My mottos in life are: Everything happens for a reason....and....Something good always comes from something bad. I have been through a lot in my life and it has made me a stronger person for it. I don't use it as a "cop out" to get things or for a reason to not be a contribution to society. I'm also not a "do as I say, not as I do" person. If I'm not willing to do something, I don't expect anyone else to either.I have a great job that I absolutely love. I work rotational shift work, so that creates a problem with my personal life. If you are an impatient person, I am probably not the woman for you as I may not have every weekend off and I work most holidays. I am dedicated to my job and have goals that I am working towards. I have given up lots of time to be there for my co workers when they needed time off. Sometimes I'm called into work on short notice on my days off, or times I have worked a double shift. I don't mind, I knew what I was signing up for and I love the job. This is just a heads up for anyone that wants to get to know me. I'm not always at work and I do have time off, don't get me wrong there. If you are interested in getting to know me, please send me a message! I might just be the one you are looking for! First date should definately be in a public place. Meeting for coffee or lunch would be good for starters....maybe even a picnic in the park! Everyone does the dinner and a movie, but you cannot talk and get to know eachother in a movie theater. You could go out for a drink, but sometimes people get nervous and drink too much in a case like that. Then you only get to know the drunk side of that person...lol. But that is an option as well.
