Feisty, classy, fun, outgoing, have a great sense of humor, am pretty much a social butterfly who loves to dance and travel, amateur photographer...that's me! Keeping physically fit is a priority for me and I hope it is for you as well. Single life has its advantages and I do enjoy my independence, but I also believe that when the time is right, it's right!I have a passion for painting in acrylic & watercolor and am quite good at it with many framed pieces. In the spring I enjoy getting my hands dirty in the garden with flowers or vegetables and getting pumpkins ready for harvest in the fall. If you love college football, especially the WI Badgers, USC Trojans or the good old Packers, come sit next to me! Some of my favorite physical activities are biking, hiking, motorcycling, and kayaking. I am an honest, loving, giving, nurturing person who's willing to share those amenities with the right person.As far as music goes I like most genre's and love to dance! I used to be an aerobic *** I have plenty of energy to burn! Yet on the other end of the spectrum, listening to calming music in my office everyday is very relaxing. Ragaeton and Latin are a few of my favoirtes in music.Imagine this... the peaceful quiet of water hitting the shore, a deep orange sunset on a peaceful lake with sailboats skimming the water along with a lighthouse on the horizon... Or riding through the cornfields on horseback looking at the amazing red orange harvest moon. Unforgettable.Being diverse is the key to living life the way it's meant to be lived, so I'll try to experience as much as I can while physically able to. I am blessed with the things I was able to accomplish so far. As with everything, one step at a time. Be yourself and let the good times roll!A romantic moment to me would be sitting next to a fireplace or a bonfire gazing upon the endless expanse of the ocean or lake.     It's way too difficult to describe myself in a box. I'm part Italian, which makes me a bit passionate in the things that matter to me. I feel things deeply and give 100% (and then some) to the people in my life. My children are my greatest blessing! Hobbies include anything of a creative nature. I'm a published writer and have recently tapped into the artist in me! I love creating something out of nothing. Can't imagine the world without music...all kinds. Don't think I can pin down a specific type or style. I guess it depends on my mood at any given moment. Anything from acoustic guitar, to piano music, to jazz, to rock, to contemporary pop music. Can't say I'm too fond of zydeco or rap music with offensive lyrics, but most anything else is on my list of favorites. I love the outdoors and enjoy anything that involves being around water...a beach or lake. Not great on skis, but enjoy going along for the ride!My story, and what I'm looking for, isn't all that unique. Married for ten years, and although it wasn't my "happily-ever-after", my amazing kids made it all worth it. My youngest has just headed off to college, and I'm thinking it might be time for a new beginning for me. I just want a stand-up guy who's willing to say "Enough" when it comes to playing the same old games. (If you continue to do what you've always done, you'll continue to get what you've got!) Unfortunately, it seems like this might be the wrong pond to be fishing in. Plenty of people trolling, but nobody (and by that, I mean you men!) really making an effort to connect. (Or maybe you're hanging around for that arm candy?) Good luck with that... Lots of really great women out there (and yes, I think I'm one of them) looking for a really great man willing to at least buy her a cup of coffee! First dates are usually a bit awkward, so I'd prefer something with very little pressure! Meeting for dinner or coffee or a drink seems to be a great way to break the ice. It doesn't take too long to determine if there's potential...
