Just to save everyone time: I almost never answer messages that say 'hi how are you?' or a variation thereof.I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up, but I do my best to enjoy what I do in the meantime. Maybe working for a major soul-sucking American company isn't exactly the highlight, but what I do when I'm not working isn't so bad. I like to play guitar, the autoharp, and sometimes even do it in front of people (open mics, don't start thinking of me as some rockstar!). Sometimes I write, sometimes I take university courses (last year, German, this year, Astrophysics).I'd like to meet someone challenging - with a variety of interests, some like mine, some not. I love to expand my horizons and suddenly doing different things I never expected I'd do. I think everything good that has come out of my life has come from something I never planned.My sense of humour has been described as "cutting". Thin skinned should beware, I tend to be fairly direct. I'm also pretty strong in many of my beliefs about social issues and equality (or lack thereof) throughout the world. I'm very into politics.The little grocery list above this text box tells me that if I want to be successful on meetville (and sure, why not), I need to describe my taste in music. Obscure, maybe? People never recognize the bands I really love, nor the music I play. I love folk music, singer/songwriter and blues, but there really isn't a genre of music for which I cannot think of a band or at least a song that I really enjoy. Yes, I can even think of country songs I like. Je suis bilingue, mais soyez patient, s'il vous plait. Je n'avais pas beaucoup des chances pour pratiquer. Eh. The first date can be stereotypical.     Hi there...I think the best words to describe me are easy-going, witty and up for most things kinda gal. I love being outdoors during a sunny day either on a patio with friends or exploring the city. I am an avid traveler with my next adventure or road trip always on my mind. Most of my travels have been backpacking and learning about the culture, but of course I can handle a lay on the beach all-inclusive holiday too....unless Australia moves closer. I still enjoy heading out to a lounge or bar/pub with friends to see live music or catch up, but definitely past the club scene. After a long week I enjoy cuddling up on the couch with a movie, candles and wine. My weeks are usually filled with work, the gym and playing some sort of sport (tennis, golf...etc). I am still trying to find my passion for cooking but enjoy the cooking process with someone and will for sure do the clean up. I love medium-big size dogs, I don't have one now, but definitely in the near future! I am looking for someone to share some laughs with and build from there. I am looking for a guy that has his own interests and passions that I can learn from and hopefully he can learn from me. Also would help if he loved to travel, played sports and enjoyed spending time together from lazy Sunday mornings to wild nights.
