About Me

I love Music, anything from a little club to a Stadium concert. Originally from the "Motorcity/Motown/RockCity" I have a great sense of humor, and can easily laugh at myself. I like to hike in the mountains around the valley that is when it is not 1,***degrees out. I am looking for a good man honest, trust worthy, good sense of humor, and someone in good shape, as I take care of myself too. The first date should be casual coffee or a****ail, to see if chemistry is there and maybe see about the second date or continue things if they are going well

Woman. 50 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 47-57

Hi! Thanks for taking a look at my profile. I am a self employed business woman. I work hard but I love to play. I believe in doing things right the first time rather then having to do them over. I dine out often and love getting together with friends for drinks. If the patio is open, that's where you'll find me. I enjoy simple things like playing games or pinochle, watching movies or listening to live music. I like almost any kind of music (not rap so much.) I love listening to 70's music and R&B. I don't watch alot of tv. I love animals. I have a cat who is just the most affectionate companion. I love dogs and would have one but I like the freedom to come and go that a cat offers. I have a convertible and love to go for long drives. I like to explore quaint towns and find new places to go. So, what am I looking for... I'm looking for someone who is my age or younger. I'm a little old fashioned and like a gentleman who pulls out a chair for me, opens the car door for me, etc. I love to laugh. I hate sarcasm. I'm not really big into sports. If you are stuck to the couch during football or Nascar season I'm probably not for you. If you feel the need to climb a fourteener every weekend, again, I'm not for you. I'm a bit more of a city girl. I don't mind an occasional hike but it is not how I want to spend my every free moment. I'm looking for someone who wants to go places and do things. If I've sparked your interest drop me a note. We can get together for a cup of coffee or drink for a half hour or so and see if there's a spark.

Woman. 46 years old. Zodiac sign: Libra.

Looking for: man. In age: 43-53

Thanks for stopping by,I am a proud mother of two beautiful children; my son is now 18 and my daughter is now 20, wow time sure flies, they both still live at home and out of high school with jobs.My most favorite things to do is spending time with my children as much as possible, sitting on my porch watching the sun go down and my two dogs play - with a nice glass of wine. The other most important thing I like to do is to go on long hiking trips with my daughter and others..I've been a real estate agent for little over 15 years - I love what I do, I am thankful for how long I've been doing it.I lost my husband and the father of my children in ***, but I have waited long enough and I am ready to start over and find a great step-father to my children and a man that I can spend the rest of my life with - the reason I am on this site is to find someone who is a great, honest, loyal man who is ready to start over with me.Have a good day. The First Date - Somthing casual, like a meeting to get to know each other over a nice cup of coffee or a drink.

Woman. 49 years old. Zodiac sign: Scorpio.

Looking for: man. In age: 46-56

The Resume:My hobbies: home improvement, writing fiction, animals (dog lover, but without pets at the moment), reading, walking, going to movies, live theatre(my degree is in set design for film and TV), concerts and listening to music at home. New technology (it’s part of my job, but it can be fun), science, computers, my iPhone, Starbucks, dark chocolate (the good kind). My goals/aspirations: writing a book, researching my family history, travel-(I do like cats too, and horses) Finish some projects on my house and make it my sanctuary. Update: new floors are in the bedroom, I did some of it myself and all the painting. Not sure if I wouldn’t step on any toes, but I would like to try ballroom or couples dancing. What makes me unique: I'm sure my friends have their own opinions, but I am outgoing and confident and shy. I like being around friends and family, I am also comfortable being by myself. In my job I work with a lot of guys, techs and engineers and I am comfortable in that environment, but I also like the theatre, art, literature, I can use power tools and grew up with snakes and lizards. Music is very personal to me and taps into my emotional and fun loving side. Yeah for iTunes!!!Turn offs:Use of profanity when it isn't needed, Profiles without pictures, pictures taken in the mirror, pictures wearing only sunglasses (I have a thing for eyes) and lastly pictures that contain dead animals/fish. The Novel (in progress):Since being divorced I have decided not to settle on finding just someone, I want THE ONE. While I am a hopeless romantic, I am a realist and I understand relationships take effort. That doesn’t mean I can't write my own ending, I want someone who I can look at across a crowded room and smile knowing there is some amazing secret between us. Intimacy should start with the spoken word, an innocent touch and see where it leads from there. As I mentioned above, I work with a lot of guys, techs and engineers and I am comfortable in that environment, but I believe my salvation is my creative and intro-reflective side that has flourished over the last few years since the passing of my mother and the end of my marriage. I see the world in a completely new light and intend to make the most of this new found motivation. I can’t change my past, but I am in complete control of my destiny, conscious of the journey along the way. I would like to find someone who shares some of my interests, and even if there are some he is not avid about part taking in, he decides it makes him happy because I am happy. At the same time, I would like that special someone to expect the same of me. Letting someone 'in' to my life and I into theirs is hugely important and needs to be achieved without fear of judgment. This includes embracing each other's family as their own, socializing with mutual friends and being open to new ones. I like being around friends and family, but I'm not afraid to be alone. I am not opposed to a man who will open doors for me or who will offer their hand when I get out of a car (in fact I like that a lot), but I can take care of myself, I am far from helpless. But that doesn't mean I don't need a strong shoulder to cry on occasionally. I don’t consider myself a dare-devil or sports junky, but I don’t keep myself locked indoors all the time either. (Unless I’m writing then I can’t help it). I do know enough about sports to follow along and have ventured out to see a hockey or baseball game. You move a little more, there’s a bounce in your step and a smile on your face. Music becomes the sound track to the life you want to lead. It can reveal a few secrets without saying anything. (Are you mysterious, fun, multi-dimensional, flirty, romantic, sensual, vulnerable, a closet rock star, assertive, poetic, young at heart, emotionally available, rebellious, all of the above.) If you can relate to any or all these concepts then introduce yourself. I know the difference between a flat head and Philips screw driver, I’ve cut more than a few sheets of dry wall, have power tools of my own and don’t check the mirror every five minutes to see if I need lipstick. I’ll let you decide, I know who I am and *the one* needs to know who they are while being open to change, because everything changes. ~~~~~"One person can make a difference, and everyone should try." - JFK.'“Whatever you do (in life) will be insignificant, but it is very important that you do it.” Mahatma Gandhi First Date What would I like to do on my first date: It would probably depend on what transpired leading up to the first date. I think the best activity would be something fun with the opportunity to get to know my first date better, some place that also allow us the opportunity to talk, ask questions and listen to what each other may have to say. And please have a picture on your profile, my main profile picture is current ***.
